    Whatever else happens beforehand I think we'd best wait until Thursday is over before we make any transfers ..... we now know Klopp's priorities and his PL team selections could be very different for the next few weeks if Liverpool reach the Europa semi-finals.

      Same for the FA cup reply if you're thinking of martial or united attacking coverage. If they beat West Ham in the cup then they'll be rested second game of the double as 4th is gone

    So I had thought WC adds 20+ pts to your FPL team...Guess its not even Zero in this crazy epl season!

    People say decide after Bench boost DGW34...Well if most teams have rotation and already being 40pts behind vs non WC team, I am not feeling optimistic

      Yep I've gone from being joint top in ML to about 20 pts behind due to Vardy. This was always going to be the risk and I was never considering retaining Vardy - he was my first transfer out, for Lukaku. I'm just thankful Kane didn't score

    Asking again. Bottomed.

    A) Play Bolasie
    B) Play Alli
    C) Get Lanzini for a -4

    I'm thinking play Alli. Stoke were miserable.

    A. Darmian+ Bolasie-> Smalling+ Milner(-4)
    B. Darmian+ Bolasie+ Lennon+ Gabriel-> Smalling+ Iwobi+ Firmino+ Moreno(-12)
    Played WC last week.
    I know Milner scored well last night but Firm/ Cout have better stats and Gabriel is a huge concern.

          That's my point. Firmino was on the pitch and not involved in any of the goals - in the position he plays that's worrying. Coutinho in better form.

    Hi ,

    What do you guys think about Cech? Will he play both games in GW 34? A bit scared - because I also have Butland - and would be crap to have no keeper in double GW.

      Nothing wrong with the chips. How you play them however

      1. Shifty
        • 12 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

        surely those clowns at FPL had played out scenarios of the damn chips given the context of the game in mind.

        Any player who's played the game more than 1 season knows about DGWs and their potential. WC+BB chips were always going to be considered as back-to-back chips by majority.

        Even without hindsight, it's reasonable to assume that combo of chips will be played late season and could be a big swing in either direction.

        Not sure what those clowns were thinking. People were bound to get disillusioned somewhat.

    4. Shifty
      • 12 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

      these chips have upset long time players for good reason as strategies learned over the years are basically 50% out of the window - but it's completely opened the game up especially to new players or casuals who tune in and out during the season.

      It's going to stay 100%. From a game perspective, it would look bad on FPL's part to introduce such a huge change and backtrack after 1 season.

      Westham have had a horrible time with refs last few weeks to.

      Lanzini goal vs Arsenal
      Kouyates red vs Palace
      Pen in the Chelsea game
      Uniteds goal in the cup game

      Maybe even Payets goal vs Arsenal, not much in it between carroll and Kocielney.

      Add up those points and they would be 4th tied with Arsenal

          We are almost thinking of getting T-shirts that say.

          You have the reff but we have Payet

              That scout who ever spotted Payet should get pay rise for sure. Signing of the season

                Was all Bilic.

                As soon as he became manager he went straight to the owners and said, do what it takes to sign this guy...

        Yeah was thinking this.
        Could be a decent pick for GW34.

    I have to get rid of both Bolasie and Barkley.

    Robles l Darlow
    Kosc l Gabriel l Sakho l Dann l Rojo
    Sanchez l Payet l Marhez l Bolasie l Barkley
    Aguero l Lukaku l Mitrovic

    2FT / 3.2ITB

    What would you do?

    A) Bolasie / Barkley --> Coutinho / Firmino
    B) Bolasie / Barkley --> Milner / Coutinho
    C) Gabriel / Bolasie / Barkley --> 4.5 / Milner / Ozil (for -4pts)
    D) Other suggestion?

      Would of said Iwobi and someone but saw the double Arsenal defense haha. Liverpool will be rotating with their Europe run so not sure if they are the best to go for

        Yes.. To get Iwobi, I'll have to get rid of Gabriel and take a hit. Not sure it is worth it. Same if I want to get Ozil. About the poll mids, I am really confused now about who is more likely to play both DGW games.. I am lost!

        On paper I agree, but I doubt they'll both start during DGW, especially if they go through against Dortmund

    What would you do before bench boost this gw?
    Robles** Migno**
    Bellerin** Gabriel** Smalling** Delaney** Simpson
    Sanchez** Coutinho** Payet** Barkley** Mahrez
    Aguero** Lukaku** Rashford**

    1.5 ITB, 1FT.
    Was planning Barkley->Firmino all week, but now a bit sure, 4 goals, NO involvement.
    Barkley->Milner perhaps?
    Or Mahrez->Milner?

    All thoughts appreciated, thanks in advance 🙂

      I'm in a similar debate. Was gunna do Barkley to Cout but I'm going to wait until after the Dortmund game to make a decision. Also gotta sort out jagielka. This weeks been horrendous

      I'd probably wait on Barkley news before shipping him.
      If he is injured thenow maybe miller. It's hard to know now

      Not sure getting rid of Mahrez is the way to go.

    Surely, whether they win or lose in Europe, there is a very good chance that klopp will be another gracious rotated tram v Bournemouth - ahead of the everton game.....

    Unlikely coutinho will play full game in Europe and then Bournemouth don't u think?

      No idea where the yellow flag came from. I'm really hoping it's nothing serious as he was my 1 week punt
