Have we fallen hook, line and sinker? After taking a beating by a cast of talent sacrificed in our Gameweek 33 Wildcards, it certainly feels we’ve obliviously wandered over a trapdoor and slammed back down to earth.

We’re back up to full strength in the ScoutCast as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to compare the bruises inflicted by our Gameweek 33 refresh. We endevour to remain optimistic, clinging to the hope that the Gameweek 34 bench boost chip will deliver and help us balm the damage from a disastrous weekend.

Judging by the line of questioning from the community, we’re not the only ones smarting. The four of us pick through your bout of queries, before looking ahead the weekend and the Gameweek that could yet revive our seasons.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first aired live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get a heads up on future broadcasts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Basically guts, we're now all absolutely fcked for Gameweek 35. It will be benching galore for ManCity and Liverpool.

Most of us plan only to have 11 anyway, so if you take off the 2/3 assets from these two teams that have a high likelihood to be benched, that leaves us with about 8/9 players which doesn't sound promising. Then if you take into account other teams may also have started rotated by GW35 this could further lower this total, and destroy our line-ups.

Very true. Especially LFC as there's no way they can get into top 4

West Ham and Everton players will have to be sold for Spurs and Leicester players for a hit, rather than just tucking them away on the bench for 37

Was just about to post similar.

Not sure how much it will effect DGW Liverpool but 35 expect a repeat of this last weekend. Compounded with benches of blanks.

Bentekke punt, league stater for sure.

Milner is really overrated on here. He's a good FPL player because of his price + set pieces, but he's really average in central midfield. Decent out wide.

  19. WE GO FOR IT

I don't think any player except Mignolet and maybe Milner will star 3 games. So, it's best to take that player which is in form and more likely to score/assist than a player who will play a few minutes more. So, Coutinho over Firmino for me.

Was planning a hit to do Lennon > Lanzini tonight.

Would leave me with 4 GW36 blanks (1 to go on an FT) but also Countino (should be ok), Lovren & Coutinho.
Given tonight do you think getting Alli back in for nailed on games is sensible or just go with Lanzini then a mix of Hope & Hits for GW35?
Tempted just to throw caution to the wind, in for a penny etc.

I think I'm just gonna avoid strategizing for DGW 37 altogether. Will be rotation galore along the way and the point lost along the way will outweigh a bigger possibly score in 37. Just a big headache altogether. Time get back in some Spurs and Leicester players and avoid it all..
