Payet Sánchez De Bruyne Coutinho Nasri
    Martial Mitrovic Agüero

Your rubbish looks suspiciously like my rubbish ๐Ÿ˜› My Smalling + Milner to your Lovren + Nasri.

My thoughts are in the range of Coutinho + Martial -> Kane and Alli. It sucks but I don't want to get burned by Spurs again.

Do we know how long Nasri is likely to be out? In your situation, if he's a no-go for GW35, then I'd consider Nasri -> Alli for free and possibly just risk it.

Do you still have your WC?

Kane would seem a must so Martial -> Kane would make sense for the FT. Transfers thereafter would be for players with a DGW AND motivated.

Yeah, I could see that. It's just a personal preference, but I'm more concerned with getting the most games out of decent FPL players between now and the end of the season. So if I only field 10 in GW35 but I've added a guy with two in GW37, it's evened out and I haven't brought in a player I don't really fancy just to have 11 in GW35.

But if that guy is out there, then certainly kill two birds with one stone.

I did the same thing but don't regret it at all. It was the right choice. He easily could have had two goals the other day and not being on the CL squad made him a great selection.

like the rest - A if 2 match ban, B if not

I would just go with B fwiw - both blank this weekend but B keeps the team structure slightly more balanced and keeps extra cash for GW36 rather than spending it all on Vardy > Kane.

30 goals, 25 fantasy assists. No chance.

Don't get me wrong I love Kane as much as the next guy but he needs to break 40 goals or become a creative demon to do it. 4 years of peak Henry couldn't tie Suarez's shoelaces in fpl terms. I just don't think anyone will do it anytime soon.

    What a weird week.

Bench boost with bench of Mahrez Kane Lloris Dier seems like a chip well used but my starting 11 DGWers on show have been pathetic.

Have 11 players available this week including Moreno...narrowed my transfer options down to the 2 below. Thoughts?

    A) Lingard > King - would like Lanzini but not enough coin at the moment
    B) Martial > Pelle (if fit) or Borini/Defoe for the run-in

ML deficit was 92 pts at the start of GW32. As of now, I've got it down to 26 with 15 to go this week. Got some luck in the fact his team is rife with rotation fodder and had to burn a FT to replace Jags this weekend. I think I can do this ๐Ÿ™‚

I committed to Coutinho way too early and paid the price ๐Ÿ™ Good job on double United...the TV helped there. Mine's kak, don't even have 1 United defender (decided not to get Rojo due to rotation fear meh) but kept my double Spurs defence which looks like a good call.

๐Ÿ™‚ My issue is to do that, I have to sell either KDB or Payet. If the former, it means playing with 10 in GW35 or a -8. If the later, it means taking an extra -4 down the line, to get the GW37 team I want.

I'm fine with either scenario, just need to weight it up.

What happened to Pelle over the weekend? Did he get a knock?

I'd keep KDB - I reckon he'll be the highest scoring midfielder from here on out. I think you have a Liverpool midfielder, might cull those clowns for Alli instead. Martial to Kane sounds good. I'm personally looking at Defoe/Borini in the budget bracket...just looking at players with something to prove right now.

Before Kun plays Newcastle I decided to see how many goals the guys who hold the record of 5 goals in a game performed in the reverse fixture. Two blanked and two got one each (shearer and Defoe). So 2 for Kun and that would be the most goals against one team in an EPL season. Actually 1 is enough - no captain or TC on him. Maybe someone got 3 in one game and 4 in another but I doubt it.

I just checked this for you, you're right nobody has got a 4-fer and a hat-trick against the same team in a season. In fact, Adebayor is the only player in the PL era with 2 hat-tricks against the same opposition in the same season. In case you're wondering who it was against, it was _that_ Derby County side.

It is for me. A bonus point darling basically gets 50% extra clean sheets over their team mates.

    Thanks a lot.

    Mignolet
    Sakho, Bellerin, Simpson
    Sanchez, Coutinho, Iwobi
    Kane, Aguero

    Robles, Martial, Payet, Reid, Lanzini

I am seeing a lot of love for Defoe..
Is he really the best striker to get... (Kane, Aguero, Martial ATM)
Any better striker for about 9.7m?

    Martial prob has to go!

You could take a shot with Sturrdige if Pool are out of Europa, but you know the risk.

Sorry guys had this posted in another page...

    Hart
Bellerin/Huth/Fonte (dependent on his head injury)
    Iwobi/Sanchez/KDB/Ali
    Aguero/Kane

    Subs: Adrian/Mensah/Coleman/Antonio

    1. Coleman > Rose/Walker
    2. Antonio > Mahrez/Mane
    3. Coleman > Simpson and Antonio > Eriksen (-4)

    What you guys think? Thanks

Lukaku GW33 triple captainers, with the benefit of a week to let it simmer...

starting to see the funny side of it as well given how this GW has gone.

What a sh*tshow this WC-BB/TC combo has been. Hopefully the remaining games deliver sth but wow.

imagine if I get another after using BB as well...

On BB this week...starting 11 DGWers are rubbish but bench of Mahrez Kane Dier Lloris means it's probably been successful.

Could probably have benched my DGWers and saved the chip though ๐Ÿ˜†

Mostly ๐Ÿ˜† though had I known he was carrying a knock I'd have done something different.

We often have to do the best we can with imperfect knowledge though so there's not much point getting angry about the outcomes. Overall I've gotta be happy being inside the top 5000 tonight given my many captain fails, triple captain fail and DGW no/lo-shows this season.

My warped plan was that Lukaku TC in 33 would give me enough points to spend a few hits to have a BB-worthy 15 in 34 as I didn't have a WC. Completely blew up in my face.

You've had a good season Diva all things considered. I, on the other hand, was taking a risk at salvaging mine but have ended up nailing my own coffin ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, I don't know quite how I've ended up where I am. Apart from two good gameweeks (8 and 9), my season has been pretty meh. Just eeking out little improvements here and there I guess.

Where are you at now Shifty? If I was at 200,000+ I'd probably be doing what you've been doing and taking some risks. No guts, no glory at this stage of the season around there.

Yea I was at 200K and have since dropped to just under 400k. Took a risk, backfired but hey - I tried. Just not the right season to do it!

I think the 'template' has been so strong mid season that a good start meant you stayed there. Similar to last season but difference is the same team could have performed for 15 GWs consecutively whereas last season you always had to make the right moves week to week.

So, I found a way to get Kane in for -4, while keeping KDB and Payet.

Robles, Dann, Lukaku -> Darlow, Kirchhoff, Kane

Not in love with this, as I'd rather have a better GW35 keeper and PVA if anyone from Sunderland's back line

Can't afford PVA I guess? How about kaboul or the other CB kone
      Set piece threat
Darlow is a good shout, lots of save points for that price, few can afford lloris or hart

I'd be 0.3 short of PVA in the scenario above. Max 4.4 to spend, so it's Kirchh, Kaboul or Yedlin

Well, my GW 35 is ready to rumble (with a -4 though)

    Darlow
    Fuchs bellerin otamendi
    Sanchez iwobi Alli Kdb
    Kane aguero mitrovic

Bench - sakho Robles smalling lanzini

        I only have two
        Coutinho & sakho

Doing coutinho & martial to the spurs boys
        I regret overlooking firmino
The clincher is I went otamendi over cresswell precisely for GW 35 purposes
