“They weren’t set play goals either, they were there because we kept the composure, we kept the ball until they came to the box. The opponents were more and more occupied with Andy or Sakho, so we gave them a little more of a gap for them to come. They came and the delivery was really good.

“It’s great for Cheikhou, he had an excellent game, and of course for Mark his whole season has been exceptional. He is a real skipper, a real leader of the team, not only in the games but in every training session too. It’s a great privilege for me to have him.”

  Was made aware of the stats last week about strikers poor records against them and how midfielders were the ones who generally did the damage in terms of goals. Definitely something in that.
  
  On a separate note, not a WH fan but had a soft spot for Noble since his tears after the Spurs game in the Tevez season, seems like a great lad!

    Yeah maybe just stick Lukaku, he's a risk but one I've taken.. I'm not bringing in any SGW players, even Aguero.. Going to make the most of the DGW.. I think it'll either be Sanchez -> Liverpool mid or save FT to have two for 38.

Does anybody else over here think Carroll is over rated?

Why not prefer Costa, who is a proven goal magnet, instead of Carroll or Defoe?

  Look, I may well do it if he looks really good, because I agree, I like the idea of explosive potential in my TC. But by the same token, he'll have to look pretty impressive to tempt me. The logic would suggest against TC'ing a player who has scored a grand total of 2 goals this year.

    Logic suggests that captaining last season's POTY (and FPL top scorer) when he has apparently regained full fitness after a run of problems with injuries might be good thinking.
    
    You can cut this either way. Thing is, there are no "certainties" out there.

  I've still got Coutinho, though I'm not particularly happy about it. If Pool get knocked out of the Europa league he may stay. Milner is probably going to stay in my team too, just b/c I've got too many other things to worry about, and he should surely start at least 1 of the double regardless of how they do in their European game.

      I'm not sure on selection, that's the problem. But Pedro has looked very bright whenever I have seen him recently and I think Hiddink is aware that players fighting for Euro selection need games.
      
      Redmond could do brilliantly if Neil keeps him in the team. He's probably Norwich's biggest threat and did very well at the back end of last season too. But Neil seems undecided for some reason.

Thinking of either doing it GW37 or GW38 - currently have it active for GW37 but am having second thoughts.
