    Darlow doesnt really affect me so this isnt sour grapes but dont you think pen saves are too highly rewarded. Some of the miracles DDG has pulled off this season way better than blocking a poor pen

      No I think it's fair. Most pens are scored so it is a clean sheet gone so a pen save deserves a reward.

      Sort of agree. Maybe 3 or 4 points. It still adds another excitement to the game. I remember having Mignolet GW1, maybe his debut? That was a nice 15 points too.
      It happens so seldom it makes it more sweet 🙂

        Don't forget he wasn't rewarded 15 for the own save. If he conceded 4 and saved a pen he should still be rewarded. Not his fault the defense/team is gash. The points system is very fair, especially now that they have sorted the bonus, sort of

    Awful, awful season but a few green shoots. The aim was top 100k back then, cut it down to 21 points now. Plus I should hopefully beat my very first season OR. That was another target, would be embarrassing if I didn't achieve that.

    With 150+ plus scores aplenty in the infamous GW34 could it be considered that similar scores will be churned out of GW37? West Ham and Chelsea seem to have a settled XI with opportunity to score big.

    My question is then: A 12 - 16 point hit (although never advised) is it worth it? Especially since I currently only have 4 DGW's currently.

        Im 21,000th High enough to care, but not close enough to be bothered. if that makes sense. I think a 12 point hit is on the cards with a TC chip left too. Although Sanchez on GW38 seems a good option here too.

    Went to Punchestown races today. Got free tickets from work and it was the family day. The 2 girls were happy out on the bouncy castles, so brought the 9 yo fella to the bookies and did my best to explain how it all works.

    I hadn't had a bet in 6 years and was busy on the phone looking at ITKs. Stuck €50 to win on the 6/5 fav. He finished second.

    I told the younfella to pick the name he liked best. €2 E/W on the 20/1 winner. I thought... Oh no what have I created!

    He then proceeded to tell me that he will never bet again as he didn't enjoy the stress of it all. It will be another 6 years til I bet again.

    The wisdom of youth. Very proud of him.
