Today’s first Euro 2016 match is only the second British home nations clash at a major tournament, as England take on Wales in Group B.

The two sides have a long history on the international stage, having played each other 102 times, with England winning 66 times to Wales’ 14 victories, the last of which came in 1984.

Chris Coleman’s Wales go into the match on the back of a confidence building 2-1 win against Slovakia, where an impressive eight of their 11 goal attempts were on target.

In contrast England’s confidence took a knock after they conceded in injury time in their 1-1 draw with Russia. Roy Hodgson’s team will have to be more clinical if they are to beat Wales after seeing two thirds of their 15 goal attempts against Russia fail to hit the target.

A performance to rival that of their only previous home nations major tournament tie, when they beat Scotland in Euro 96, may be needed if England is to get the better of their noisy neighbours.

Could be a good thing, Woy likely to sub off Sterling and bring on Vardy at halftime now rather than 80 mins

Some tired looking players in an England shirt, and Sterling who is tired and useless. Honestly, I don't know what he's doing in the squad let alone the first team.

Slow, his personality dominates others, creates an imbalance in the team. Alli should be #10, with a more driving midfield in the centre, and Sturridge up top (or Sturbridge and Vardy, because Kane looks knackered)
