Friday’s second Euro 2016 match sees the Czech Republic meet Croatia, one of the tournament’s most attacking sides so far.

In overcoming Turkey 1-0 in their opening Group D clash Ante Cacic’s side had an impressive 19 goal attempts.

In sharp contrast, the Czech Republic, could only muster six attempts on goal in their 1-0 opening game defeat to Spain. If Pavel Vrba’s side do not score today this will be the first time they have failed to register a goal in two consecutive European Championships games. Their last draw in 90 minutes at the European Championships came in their Euro 96 goalless semi-final against France. They eventually won that match on penalties, only to lose to Germany in the final.

This is the first competitive meeting between the two sides. In their two friendly encounters, which took place in 1996 and 2011, Croatia have the edge winning both times.

      Kroos seems a little more creative than ozil, more chances more crosses. Also he is in charge of most dead ball situations and corners.We might see Gomez coming into the team for the next game. Another headed goal may be ?

      The Round of 16 is next Saturday so plenty of time recover.
