Rate My Team Update & Preview Movie

Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

These tools are accessible as part of the Fantasy Football Scout Membership. This is currently available for the pre-season price of £12.50 (RRP £15.00).

Users with free accounts can upgrade via this link, while new users can register as members here.

I had a spare .5 lying around, so upgraded a 4.5 to Stones. The rest is staying the same, I think. Although I have Kone in as a Sunderland player and may rethink if he moves.

Can Arsenal just sign Mahrez so I can put Gray in my team please! Any £5m rated players worth getting or shall I just get a £4.5m??

Is Kightly nailed? He's a winger so if he's nailed then could be a decent option.

    Also VVD or Williams??

I don't think so, there's been a lot of discussion here about that. His price reflects his potential - he's one for the future. He hasn't even had one training game with City. Pep will favour Mangala for at least the opening fixture till Stones gets adjusted.

          EVERTON IN FOR KONE

Sky sources understand Sunderland defender Lamine Kone is this morning on Merseyside as negotiations continue over a potential move to Everton.

One source has told us Everton placed the bid of £18m more than a week ago – however our sources at Sunderland have denied any bid has been received.

We can trace the issues back to the departure of Sam Allardyce, who it is suggested had agreed to improve the central defender’s contract if Sunderland survived relegation.

However the arrival of David Moyes has meant priorities have shifted and a new offer has not been forthcoming.

Changed it. Targett and Souare instead of Masuaku and Amat

    RMT please:
    Adrian - Mandanda
    Shaw - Stones - Morgan - Kone - Evans
    Hazard - Martial - Ayew - Townsend - Hojbjerg
    Aguero - Musa - Gray

    1.0m ITB

    Issues:
    a) Would like to bring an Arsenal attacker in
    b) Morgan's only in as a place-holder for an Everton CB - can anyone convince me that there is a case for Williams starting?

    Current team:

    Foster / Jakupovic

    Shaw / Terry / Stones / Friend / Paredes

    Hazard / Firmino / Redmond / Lamela / Capoue

    Aguero / Ibra / Gray

    Any suggestions?

*I'm thinking of possibly having Deulofeu instead of Lamela.

Assuming transfers go through, what if the best option at 5m defender now then?

    Williams (Everton)
    Jevans (Arsenal)
    Stones (Man City)

    A'noon all, Any thoughts?

    1 - Is Paredes nailed?
    2 - Coleman, VVD or Williams ?
    3 - A - 4.5 Mid & 4.5 GK or B - Routledge (5m) & Jakup (4m)
