Dugout Discussion – Bournemouth vs Man United

Jose Mourinho returns to the Premier League with a sun soaked Vitality Stadium providing the backdrop.

AFC Bournemouth host Mourinho and his Manchester United charges in today’s early kick-off, with Eddie Howe’s men attempting to follow Hull City’s lead and rip up the script.

Certainly today’s meeting will provide a stern test of Mourinho’s work over the summer – a tight pitch, a tight ground and a home side bristling with pace via Josh King, Callum Wilson and new signing Jordan Ibe.

But United have Zlatan Ibrahimovic; the Swede heads into the match having been handed the armband by 21% of Fantasy Premier League managers. It remains to be seen if he can keep pace with Sergio Aguero who was backed by 34% and rewarded them with a 9-point return in the day one win over Sunderland.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

A lot of people here routing for Firmino... I really wish I had him, but couldn't fit him in as well as my main man SANCHEZ! Cmon Sanchez, show everyone why you're the perfect differential. 😀

Players like him just seem to find a way to score regardless how they are playing, we're going on goals/assists not on whether they looked good. I few more shots on target would have been nice, but im currently content about owning him now.

    BPS at the final whistle:

    Martial -

Rooney winning goal bonus to come in, expect Zlatan to get 1. Not terrible for non-owners.

Anyone who is saying Ibra has had a poor match must be non owners trying to convince themselves they don't need him.

He has been excellent up front and worked tirelessly.

1 goal, free kick saved, and should have had two assists if not for Rooney being on the other end.

Keep telling yourselves he's been poor, lol.

Despite having a good game on debut, I think non owners should be more concerned by the fact that he looked totally comfortable in the PL and didn't look to struggle with the pace or physicality.

I'm happy for non owners not to get him to be honest, lol.

More to come, trust me. 🙂
