Jose Mourinho returns to the Premier League with a sun soaked Vitality Stadium providing the backdrop.

AFC Bournemouth host Mourinho and his Manchester United charges in today’s early kick-off, with Eddie Howe’s men attempting to follow Hull City’s lead and rip up the script.

Certainly today’s meeting will provide a stern test of Mourinho’s work over the summer – a tight pitch, a tight ground and a home side bristling with pace via Josh King, Callum Wilson and new signing Jordan Ibe.

But United have Zlatan Ibrahimovic; the Swede heads into the match having been handed the armband by 21% of Fantasy Premier League managers. It remains to be seen if he can keep pace with Sergio Aguero who was backed by 34% and rewarded them with a 9-point return in the day one win over Sunderland.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Rooney gets a bonus for scoring the game winning goal. He's close to Zlatan anyway so will probably overtake him.

Palace you mean? But yeah, it's tempting to keep Kane and I may regret it, but the combination of Zlatan looking class (I think, others don't) + inevitable price rises is too much for me to not do it.

Laughable those expecting more from Ibra. On 7 or 8 points which is 1 less than Kun. He was not average, Utd were. Rooney, Martial and Herrera didn't create much.

It wasn't a very good performance by United altho' no one has played well in GW1 so far. The difference was the BOU defence. They were shocking. Hope no one had any in their XI.

Doesn't matter how Arsenal line up. Leicester will score goals against the 'big' sides this year, more space and a higher line for Vardy and Musa to exploit. 'Harder fixtures' dont worry me at all with regards to Leicester's attack, probably more favourable.

    Morgan to Williams maybe

    Might as well be honest.

If one of Firmino/ Hazard and Costa hit the blocks for me, having no Ibrahimovic won't make a blind bit of difference.

The money I'd have used to upgrade Costa to Zlatan would have denied me getting one of the other two.

Probably doing just as well as any other team with Aguero and Zlatan at the moment (can only captain one after all)

How does Rooney get winning goal points? There should be none. Shoudl go to Mata is anyone. Utd were 3-0 up and the goal conceded was a consolation.

It is pretty simple. Rooneys goal won them the game as they scored 1. That is how it works.

... because the second United goal wad the one that changed it from being a draw to a win.
