Dugout Discussion – Leicester vs Arsenal

Saturday evening comes to a conclusion at the King Power as champions Leicester go head-to-head with Arsenal.

Both sides are already playing catch-up after losing their opening matches of the season.

Claudio Ranieri welcomes back Robert Huth from suspension after conceding twice to Hull last weekend. The Foxes boss also opts to recall Shinji Okazaki and Marc Albrighton as Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray drop to the bench. New signing Nampalys Mendy comes in for Andy King in the centre of the park.

Arsenal, meanwhile, bring in Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Granit Xhaka and Laurent Koscielny as they attempt to bounce back from Sunday’s home loss to Liverpool. Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud are deemed fit enough to take their places on the bench.

I ditched Firmino, but would also ditch Mahrez if I owned

Leicester aren't creating much (I can live without the points but they look poor)

Mahrez frees up another 1.0 I suppose

Firm. Frustrating with both displays. Mahrez not much better tho. He's on pens, so that is something

I wonder if refs will really clamp down on holding at corners and we'll see a lot of pens, or that was just the City game ?

It needs to continue. If it phases out, then it's a joke. They all need to be singing from the same hymn sheet here

He's been poor. Worked out big time. The ball over the top to run on to has been sussed now.

    Here is something to ponder.
Is Batshuayi better than Hazard in terms of ppg? Batshuayi seems to have the great touch

I'm waiting till Costa gets his 3 match ban and might get Bats in then.

Anyone else sell Vardy and Sanchez for Redmond and Ibra last night? Strange watching this game. I can see why I bought them but also why I'm not too worried to let them go.

OK so Ibra is coming in for Vardy.

Will need £1.6m downgrade to fund it - looks to be either Firmino or Martial.

Currently thinking of Firmino out - who is the best sub £6.9m MID option for next few weeks?

    Thanks

Everyone is probably getting Capoue now but won't Pereyra take his place in the attacking midfield role?

Probably a much deeper role for Capoue from now on.

    Just a though.
