Dugout Discussion – Leicester vs Arsenal

Saturday evening comes to a conclusion at the King Power as champions Leicester go head-to-head with Arsenal.

Both sides are already playing catch-up after losing their opening matches of the season.

Claudio Ranieri welcomes back Robert Huth from suspension after conceding twice to Hull last weekend. The Foxes boss also opts to recall Shinji Okazaki and Marc Albrighton as Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray drop to the bench. New signing Nampalys Mendy comes in for Andy King in the centre of the park.

Arsenal, meanwhile, bring in Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Granit Xhaka and Laurent Koscielny as they attempt to bounce back from Sunday’s home loss to Liverpool. Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud are deemed fit enough to take their places on the bench.

    My concern is the midfield as I am not really picking up any points apart from Haz. What are the best options, 1ft £0.5m itb.

      I have Tadic and Townsend too and keeping both - next week looks good for points for both. If they flop then both would be gone.

    Only really got one player in my squad that does nothing for me in terms of watching footy...Lamela....I don't dislike him but he's just a bit meh...

    Lamela > Tadic I think when he stops dropping in price.

        I ditched Gray last night for Rondon but got all his points.

        Don't fancy him at Stamford Bridge and plan to WC after so can get him back of he does well.

        Built a team for the first 3 weeks and he was part of it but he's never a season keeper.

      I'm in a similar boat here pal. Who to bring in though? Gray came good (literally no bps for a goal/assist though! Outlandish), not digging Liverpool, I have stones who might need an upgrade to Walker/VVD but I'm not sure... Defenders are all over the place! Even Abel Hernandez is looking like a great shout!

        Gray probably worth another run out after today's performance but bad fixtures

          After further reading, I might ditch Gray. Fixtures are rubbish. Stones will come good... Not enjoying Firmino at all. Some call him fixture proof... But liverpool aren't fixture proof at all!

    Sorry if this has been asked before, but is the Capoue injury serious ? FFFix has him as "Calf Injury, unknown return date". I know he got subbed off at 84', for anyone watching the game, could you tell if the injury was bad ?

      I watched the incident, Costa took a shot and Capoue got in the way....

      Just looked like an impact injury but would have to watch it again.

      If he's your 3rd sub it don't really matter does it?

      24 for his goal, 9 for his assist and 6 for playing over 60 mins.

      Totals 39 without successful dribbles/key passes if any.

      Then -3 for offsides and -1 for a shot off target.

      still puts him on 35 so I assume he must have been tackled a lot.

      The system is seriously flawed in my opinion. Costa has the same issue of never getting bonus unless he scores and assists.

      In this case, Grey has scored and assisted in 2-0. To only scrape 1 Bonus is a bit ridiculous. Scoring system needs a rethink. Favours defenders and midfielders too much now with recoveries and passes.

      Vardy in poor form
      Ibra in great form

      Tadic to redmond could both score similar but funds ibra

      For me its a deffo.

    That was a good 0-0! Shocking decisions from the ref, though Leicester were the better team. Mahrez is worth keeping if you have him. Ozil looked sharp too.

    Hi folks...currently on my hols and can't believe my best start in years...63 last week and 71 this week with ramirez to play...

    Still have 2 transfers but can't see for the lifeedback of me what to do...

    Does it make sense to hold again and give firmino and eriksen one more week?.....this would mean I still have 2 transfers after the int break and can weigh up options then.......
