Dugout Discussion – Leicester vs Arsenal

Saturday evening comes to a conclusion at the King Power as champions Leicester go head-to-head with Arsenal.

Both sides are already playing catch-up after losing their opening matches of the season.

Claudio Ranieri welcomes back Robert Huth from suspension after conceding twice to Hull last weekend. The Foxes boss also opts to recall Shinji Okazaki and Marc Albrighton as Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray drop to the bench. New signing Nampalys Mendy comes in for Andy King in the centre of the park.

Arsenal, meanwhile, bring in Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Granit Xhaka and Laurent Koscielny as they attempt to bounce back from Sunday’s home loss to Liverpool. Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud are deemed fit enough to take their places on the bench.

    Well im not convinced on Leicester atm. Also not happy with how poorly Delefueo has been performing (in FPL terms), but they now have a lovely run of fixtures. Anyone think its worth shipping Delefueo out after the stoke game for Capuoe (who have a pretty tough few games). My team for GW3 is

    How has Firmino looked stat-wise. I watched the game and he passed the eye-test imo (I actually think he was one of the better players in an otherwise poor Liverpool side). Planning on keeping him (trough the likely droop), rolling the FT and going with 2FTs into the int break (I'd really like to save that WC). Him and Vardy were my only non-scoring players from my attacking 8 in GW1&2 - ditched Vardy yesterday.
    I know that you shouldn't post stats from the MA, so a simple Good-Bad would do.

    Anything wrong here with this strategy?

    So both Arsenal and Everton look to have great fixtures coming up. On that basis, and with 2 FT's...

    A) Firmino to Barkley and keep a FT and cash in the bank for international break

    B) Downgrade a defender (likely Fuchs) and swap Firmino to Ozil/Payet/other 9.5?

          geez hard to know. just checked to see he's only 4.5. been around a long time, good player but past best. not sure he'd get a starting role based on today. then again they've so few players that maybe he will. 4.5 could be a bargain
