Dugout Discussion – Leicester vs Arsenal

Saturday evening comes to a conclusion at the King Power as champions Leicester go head-to-head with Arsenal.

Both sides are already playing catch-up after losing their opening matches of the season.

Claudio Ranieri welcomes back Robert Huth from suspension after conceding twice to Hull last weekend. The Foxes boss also opts to recall Shinji Okazaki and Marc Albrighton as Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray drop to the bench. New signing Nampalys Mendy comes in for Andy King in the centre of the park.

Arsenal, meanwhile, bring in Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Granit Xhaka and Laurent Koscielny as they attempt to bounce back from Sunday’s home loss to Liverpool. Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud are deemed fit enough to take their places on the bench.

    So decided to do Vardy Firmino > Zlatan Bolasie/Mirallas. So do it now or wait till next week's press conference as i can afford them even after Vardy's price drop. (6.9 itb 6.5 is Mirallas price)

      Not afraid of a hit but still seems needless although one thing I'm looking at is;

      Firmino > Barkley -4 and leave the change in the bank for Gray > Benteke at a later date.

      Thoughts on that? Or just leave it as it is?

        Save it, Jay. Not for a hit. I've also got firmino, and am inclined to hold unless Payet rocks tomorrow, and then I'll use an FT for that move, but I think Payet is at another level than Barkley.

        It is tricky to trade an explosive player for a steady one for a points hit. Firmino could get double digits against anyone, including Spurs (although unlikely)

        I have an almost identical team. Am on the verge of making the Firmino to Barkley change, but I do have the FT to make it easier. Think the difference in fixtures difficulty will edge it for me.

        I'm considering it, too. I think it is almost purely a money making move, and yet there is a cost -- the use of a valuable trade. Capoue could train...with multiple gains, or level off. Ultimately, we are not likely to start him, so the purchase is more about hoping to build team value.

      Is it worth getting Hazard in for Mahrez? Haven't been impressed by Mahrez in either of his games so far, and although he was unlucky to only come away with 2 points today, Hazard seemed much sharper in his first match - haven't seen the chelsea game from today though. Thoughts?
