Saturday treats us to seven more Gameweek 2 matches, with Stoke entertaining Man City in the early lunchtime kick-off.

Sergio Aguero will be hoping to continue the momentum that’s already harvested six goals in his first four outings under Pep Guardiola.

Having seen Zlatan Ibrahimovic score twice and rack up 13 points last night, though, the Argentine has plenty to do to vindicate his place at the top of this week’s captain poll.

City warmed up for this one with a 5-0 hammering of Steaua Bucharest on Tuesday evening, and their manager has been reluctant to make changes – Pep Guardiola makes just one alteration from that match in Romania, with Nolito replaced by Jesus Navas on the flank.

For the Potters, Shay Given once again deputises for the stricken Jack Butland, who remains sidelined with an ankle injury sustained in training prior to Gameweek 1.

Mark Hughes makes one enforced change for the hosts, with the injured Xherdan Shaqiri repalced by Joe Allen. Bojan is expected to switch to the right flank to allow Allen to tuck in behind Mame Biram Diouf.

Sterling should never be on the left. Ever.

I can't believe there are FFS members who not only didn't captain Aguero but don't even have him at this stage. Unbelievable

Yesterday, Aguero owners hid behind the sofa. Today, Ibra owners hide behind the sofa.

And I get to enjoy both 🙂

I'm in shock. I'm on 51 points already, nosebleed territory for me. Was regretting not captaining Zlatan last night, but doesn't really matter now

Hoping for a Stones clean sheet too.

Aguero definitely saw Ibra as the top scorer and wasn't having it.

So basically the decision to not own Ibra comes down to how Hazard, Costa, Mahrez and Firmino do

    No pressure lads!

Didn't have Ibra, stupid hunch to go Hazard (C) over Aguero the last day. Been busy with travels all week so didn't know the percentages and just went on a hunch. So I just saw Stoke away and they are solid home against City; and Watford away and they were bad defensively against Soton so let's go Hazard.

Every season one GW happens where I mess up in not captaining my favourite player Aguero (Newcastle 6-1, Norwich 7-0 etc) but I didn't expect it to happen this early 🙁
