Doubt it. The starters in the Cup were all from the second team apart from Amat who was only in because Fernandez was being eased back into action. Also, seems unlikely that Taylor having played 0 mins in the league would play 90 mins midweek in cup then start a few days later.

No. Only do that if 3 of your defenders are confirmed out and you have no FT's.
Saving my AOA for decent 8 with good fixtures
AOE fairly worthless, only time it can come in handy is when only have 2 defenders left
It's really an 8th attacker vs a 3rd defender question. It helps when the 3rd defender is a 0 but if the 8th attacker is a 2 most of the time then it doesn't really take much advantage of the chip.

The next month is nice for Dann but he is someone that is probable a transfer out waiting to happen. Walker you can just stick in there and forget about him. His fixtures are decent aswell
