J0E After taking a look at the main goal threat from Fantasy Premier League defenders priced at 5.0 and under earlier in the week, we now turn our attentions to the centre of the park.
With the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling high up on our shopping lists after bagging double-figure hauls in Gameweek 3, the need for value in midfield is vital.
This time around, then, we look at the leading contenders in the sub-8.0 bracket over the first three rounds of fixtures.
One player missing from that list who could be a decent shout for a few weeks at 6.4.

Really can't see Sterling carrying on what he's been doing, his hype will soon die down.
It really won't. United and Bournemouth in the next two and he could be playing up front. The derby will be the most hyped up game this year, if he scores in that he'll rise and rise and rise.

this Andre Gray issue is a pain.
it was so certain that Kun was getting 3 games that you could act in advance of the news. that is not the case here.
extending it to next week makes it far worse for those on wildcard, who will want Kun back pre-GW6.
Gray's fixture this week is great. but if you keep him and he gets banned next week, you'll want him out.
using a FT on that will leave one FT the next week when you'll need 2 to get Kun back. it will take a -4.
like i said, a pain.

You still got better options in Shaw, Valencia, Baines. Even Dann, Fuchs, Clyne, Bailly, VvD are arguably better for attacking potential.
Personally I'd pick some 5.0s over Vertonghen even if they were the same price, but maybe you know something I don't know 🙂
