Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs Leicester

Saturdays’s events conclude at Anfield when Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will host champions Leicester City.

The big teamsheet news is that Klopp has made the decision to keep Philippe Coutinho on the bench, despite flying him back early from international duty with Brazil. That allows Daniel Sturridge to earn a second start of the season, whilst Lucas has to come into to central defence with Dejan Lovren ruled out with an injury sustained in training.

Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City are unchanged as they bid to build on their 2-1 win over Swansea City in Gameweek 3. There’s no place on the bench for new signing Islam Slimani.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      I had 2 Fts GW 3 so i felt compelled to use one on Firmino to Pogba for a punt instead of wasting it 🙁 .. i then went and swapped Pogba out for Sterling 🙁

      So much this. Try to stick to a rule of no points hit unless you can't field an 11 & it kind of forces you to stick with your players for longer periods of time. For all those who got Barkley in for Firmino a few weeks back... The worst thing you could do is now get rid of Barkley as he could well score next week & then your into that vicious circle of chasing chasing last week's points, which usually ends in tears. Next week is another GW, there'll be more suprises in store!

      I think he is under priced by the game tbh, he really shouldnbe 9.0 or 9.5 afterbthe season he had last year. The fact that he was 8.5 means you can afford a couple of blanks from him without panicking too much... He's one of those great FPL players whose game is rewarded really well by the FPL scornmg system.
