Dugout Discussion – Sunderland vs Everton

Gameweek 4 comes to its conclusion this evening as Sunderland welcome Everton to the Stadium of Light.

Both sides roll up in contrasting form – whilst the Black Cats have yet to win, their visitors are unbeaten so far under new manager Ronald Koeman.

Two goals in the first three means Jermain Defoe is the man most likely to help David Moyes get one over his former club.

At the other end of the pitch, Patrick van Aanholt netted in his previous home appearance and Jordan Pickford’s owners are boosted by another start for the 4.0-price keeper.

For the Toffees, Ross Barkley is by far the most popular FPL pick, sitting in over 18% of squads.

With Koeman’s side set for an excellent run of fixtures, this evening’s match allows us the opportunity to also scout the likes of Leighton Baines, Romelu Lukaku and potentially even Kevin Mirallas, who starts for the fourth straight fixture under the Dutchman.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    I'm fairly happy with it, Snodgrass is the only one I would change, but any transfer I make now is a hit I will have to take next week to get Kun. If I bank it now, my ideal plan to get him back (and get in a Pool midfielder) will cost 3 transfers (-4).

    So I Wildcarded this week, and after listening to advice on this site I made the following moves:

    Firmino > sterling
    Walker > Valencia

    Not only that, but I also got convinced against ibra > lukaku

      Same front 3, I'm considering doing Ozil + Ibra to Cazorla + Lukaku depending on the performance of those involved in the transferplan. Otherwise I'm probably waiting another week or 2!
