After Watford’s win over United at Vicarage Road earlier this afternoon, Fantasy managers are treated to a couple of 2.15 pm encounters in the busiest Sunday of the season so far.

Mid-price pair Christian Benteke and Wilfried Bony go head-to-head at Selhurst Park as Palace look to build on last week’s win at ‘Boro.

Wilfried Zaha has another opportunity to strengthen his claim as a cheap midfield option after last week’s goal and assist on Teesside, though Marko Arnautovic could also throw his hat in the ring as the Potters prepare for a fine upcoming run of matches.

Southampton continue to seek a first league win under Claude Puel, though will be buoyed by the midweek Europa League win over Sparta Prague.

Visitors Swansea have managed just a single point in the last three Gameweeks, though the manner of their comeback against Chelsea last Sunday will fill the Welsh outfit full of confidence.

A poor performance from either side may well persuade owners to look elsewhere given their respective upcoming fixtures. Saints face West Ham, Leicester, City and Chelsea in the next five, whilst the Swans go up against City, Liverpool and Arsenal in the upcoming three Gameweeks.

      I am considering it, it's not that baffling. Just as it's not baffling that I have benched Capoue for 5 straight weeks. You must look forward, not to the past. Form and fixtures indicate that there are other on form options (cheaper Lukaku, Costa, or more expensive Aguero) as well as a player priced for 5M less in the same team (Rashford) who may now begin to pick up points.

      How many did Zlatan score in Rashford's three appearances?

      2-5-5.

      How many did he score without Rashford?

      9 and 13.

      Not baffling at all. Sound, in my opinion, to at least consider it, if not move on it.

          Understood, and Ibra could still reach 20+ goals this year regardless of Rash, but if you replace him with Costa / Lukaku / Aguero you will likely end up with the same result at the end of the season, roughly, PPG wise. All three are proven PL scorers over a few years. United are woeful right now, tough to create chances, though Zlatan will still likely grab a goal every two because of his sheer talent/set pieces. The question really is, is that worth 11.7m or so to keep?

            Depends if you consider him a captain alternative to Kun?

            History suggests he's more likely to be more consistent then both Costa and Lukaku, and he also has set pieces which neither of the other two do as far as we currently know.

            I'm not saying one alternative is a clear winner over the other, but I don't like hiding behind the sofa, and I'd hide behind the sofa watching Ibra if I didn't have him, whereas I wouldn't if I didn't own the other two.

            Whilst some people think there are cheaper alternatives to Ibra, I think there's cheaper alternatives to Costa and Lukaku which allows me to have both Kun and Ibra.

            You do what you think is best, but the jury is still out on what the best option is over the course of the season. All I know is I'm much more comfortable having both Ibra and Kun in my team for the foreseeable future, as if they match eachother over the course of the season, trying to get one of them back in would be a logistical nightmare.
