A typically disciplined Burnley performance nullifies Watford’s recent attacking verve and earns a precious three points at Turf Moor. Here’s the Stock Check after Monday brought the curtain down on Gameweek 6.

On the Rise

Tom Heaton
A second clean sheet of the season promoted Heaton back to the top of the FPL keeper rankings on 27 points.

Priced at 4.6, Heaton goes on confirming his value in well-drilled Burnley defence that, at Turf Moor at least, should go on generating shut-outs.

Michael Keane
Arriving in the Premier League with a reputation as a threat from set-pieces, tonight Keane delivered his first Premier League strike.

Five goals during Burnley’s promotion season flagged up his goal threat and saw him claim a 5.0 initial price in the FPL. While that has since fallen to 4.9, we’ll need to see more from Keane to warrant that outlay with Heaton an option in goal.

Steven Defour
If we ever go knocking for a Burnley midfield with 6.0 to spend then Defour will be our go-to option.

Clearly a class act, the Belgian has registered three assists a goal and six bonus points in his Burnley tenure so far. He is, however, still to complete 90 minutes.

In Decline

Jose Holebas
We were grateful to see him fit to claim his starting role at left wing-back but this was not an enjoyable evening for the Greek.

Pinned back in the first-half by a determined Clarets, Holebas was forced into a traditional left-back role with Walter Mazzarri’s tactical changes as the Hornets chased the game.

More significantly, he earned a fourth booking of the season and is now just a single yellow away from a one-match suspension. After suffering defeat in the EFL Cup, they also don’t have the option of allowing him to absorb any suspension outside of Premier League action.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Shall I do Rashford + Walcott + Snodgrass > Deeney + Capoue + Antonio before the price rises?

Can you clarify which 3 you're bringing in? The 3 on the left look better to me.

Anybody else not understand the Rashford appeal?

His underlying stats are as good playing 90 minutes as it is 45. He is a fantastic impact sub but can he keep up 90 minutes of high quality week in and week out? That remains to be seen.

And after Stoke 3 of the next 5 games are pretty tough so I wouldn't be expecting him to return a lot after that game.

His value also isn't that great for somebody under 10m.

He is a risk. People are taking the risk that he will play. He is a good player but if you're high in the ranks right now I wouldn't take the risk. Stick with Ibra. Old is gold

The comparison isn't Rashford v Ibrahimovic though; you either have to be comparing Rashford + 4.6m or you compare Rashford to other forwards that are less than 7m.

People think that Kun and Ibra are too expensive to own both so Ibra goes and Rashford becomes MUN "cover".

Yes "cover" is a strange idea to me. Man City & Liverpool will outscore Man Utd by 20-30 goals at the very least this season, give me 2 of their players each and forget the overpriced Man Utd players.

if he was 8.5 nobody would be on him - but 6.8 (which I got him for) for a regular starter in attack for man united is insane - I got him for two good home fixtures and will assess after the international break

lots of good options to move him to - defoe, deeny, ighalo, austin, negrado etc...

and he covers zlatan and means you can have sanchez and lukaku - arsenal have no centre forward currently so sanchez, lukaku, rashford and aguero give you attacking cover in all four of those teams

he's obviously not as good an option as zlatan long term... but zlatan plus a 5.5/6m mid or rashford plus sanchez is a no brainer for me

I get that Rash is a sexy pick and should do well this week but after the nice Stoke fixture is some poor fixtures and still not assured of starts or playing time.

Even at 6.9 feel there are better and safer 3rd forwards to bring in.

Austin for me but having Capoue plays a part in that decision. City and Pool are the only 2 teams where a double-up seems sensible

If I didn't have Capoue, Deeney could be an option but I still prefer Austin atm (probably memories from the 2014-15 season clouding my judgement)

Just putting some prespective to his drops.

You can't do much with .2 so there's not really that much of a doomsday scenario to it, would rather a 30 pt captain haul than .2 in SV.

My 'gameweek 1' league rank is 2271 and my overall rank is 2272.
Does that mean someone started in GW 2 and still broke into the top 2k? :O

Thought so. After deliberating a free transfer of Antonio > Walcott/Lallana. Decided to give him another week.

          Did Benteke > Rashford instead.

I asked almost the same question below. Was thinking Holebas but his 4 yellow cards worry me. I guess Holebas is the best option if you have cover when he gets a ban? Personally my defence is in shambles.

Thoughts on Shaw & Stuani to Holebas & Deeney?

Was all set on it. But after tonight's game little confused. Holebas already on 4 YCs. Still worth getting in? Any other good option in this price range?

I usually don't like doubling up on players BUT I am going to get rid of Cazorla for Lamella as I have just bought Sanchez. I am also going to sell Antonio as I am worried he will be played RB again.

I had originally planned on bringing in Son as an on-form differential. I am now debating Sterling or Walcott as their fixtures are so appealing compared to Spurs'. I already have Aguero. Thoughts and opinions on a postcard please.

Walcott is a great transfer out for Cazorla IMO.

Keep Antonio, as West Ham's top goalscorer there is literally no way he is playing RB. They need goals and he's their most in form player.

I am a bellend sorry. I meant Lallana, yes.

This is the problem with Antonio. There are lots of "should play here" "might play here" etc. It is not conducive to picking a team week-in, week-out.

Antonio might end up playing centre forward.
      he is a defensive liability.
As RM/RW he failed to track back for the first goal.
As RB he failed for the third goal.
Seeing that Zaza has been poor so far, it would be an option to play Antonio upfront

I know mate but he might also be shifted back to RB. The problem with West Ham is they spunked all their money on strikers and forwards when what they desperately needed is defence. Even now in the BBC gossip page the other day they were linked to yet another forward (can't remember which now) and I just thought Jesus wept
