Fantasy Premier League managers are handed the third Friday deadline of the season as Everton welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison this evening.

Ronald Koeman’s side suffered their first league reverse of 2016/17 against Bournemouth last week, yet in Romelu Lukaku, they boast one of the most in-form forwards in the top-flight.

The Belgian has racked up four goals and an assist in the last three and, despite being hampered by a toe problem, starts against the Eagles tonight.

Lukaku earned fourth spot in this week’s Captain Poll and faces a defence that has yet to register a clean sheet and is still devoid of the injured Scott Dann.

On the other side of the pitch, the Merseysiders will do well to subdue Christian Benteke.

The summer signing has scored in both his away appearances for the Eagles, helping them secure wins on the road at Middlesbrough and Sunderland.

A supporting cast that includes Wilfried Zaha, Andros Townsend and Jason Puncheon will be looking to breach a backline that’s conceded just two goals in the last four Gameweeks.

    So Benteke's got me two nice headed goals so far, but I don't think he's actually had a shot with his foot yet. Playing very nice link up and holding play but not as dangerous as I would have hoped.

        I find it hard to believe he will get 15+ headed goals this season. Obviously I'm happy with the goals but I'm afraid it won't be enough in the long run.

            From Benteke...? Yes absolutely. He got 19 in his last full season, he's more than capable. And don't say anything about Palace because it was at Villa...

            And my other Striker will be Defoe who I also expect 15 goals from since he managed it last season and has been off to a good start.

      Don't really agree. Maybe the last 25mins yes, but the first 60 he looked very dangerous. Unlucky not to get an assist when Gueye hit is at the defender's legs with an open goal and when crossing for Lukaku first half.
