As we approached the new season, hopes were high that Dimitri Payet could prove irresistible for our five-man midfields in 2016/17.

Restricted to just 26 minutes over the first three Gameweeks due to injury, Payet has been sold by a massive 589,000+ so far – only Eden Hazard and Riyad Mahrez have been subject to more sales in the centre of the park.

Since returning to the West Ham first XI in Gameweek 4, though, Payet has been quick to rediscover his Fantasy form.

Impressively, the Frenchman has played a part in all five of his side’s goals over that period. Payet provided two assists against both Watford and West Brom before serving up a stunning solo effort at home to Middlesbrough last time out.

With 30 points accrued in his four starts, then, this latest article for members casts an eye over Payet’s recent displays, assessing them against last season’s numbers before checking out the stats over the last four Gameweeks relative to other midfielders.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Any Liverpool fans on here?
For all of Clyne's attacking prowess last year he got just 1 goal in about 3000 minutes. what's changed this year to make him a bigger attacking threat? is he that much more attacking than usual?

Assists only, we're scoring so many goals, would still avoid until we can shut up shop though

tbf since your fixtures improved ie last 2 games you guys have conceded just 2 shots. with the fixture run after manutd things could improve. reckon clyne is worth the outlay over lovren if liverpool do tighten up at the back though?

No idea but his stats are ridiculous.

Also maybe Klopp has had time this year to implement tactics? Complained a lot about this last year did Klopp due to midweek games.

Lukaku / pererya to deeney / son 🙂

I'm favouring Wilson over Deeney. Threat stats similar, fixtures and price better for Wilson. Deeney more likely to get assists though, especially if ighalo starts firing again.

Antonio to Son worth a (-4)?

West Ham look awful, Bilic doesn't know where to play Antonio and he keeps shifting him to RB for the last 30 mins which sucks. Son' form, fixtures look good and both teams are on the opposite ends of the table.

    Appreciate your thoughts!

West Ham do look dreadful your right , but Antonio is still top of midfielder goal threat for last 4 games so what does that tell you , and you suggesting removing him for a -4 hit ?

I need a West Ham fan to talk me out of it. I want to keep him but I feel Payet is going to hog the points. One more blank would hurt but then I can do the transfer for free next week.

The stats alone should talk you out of it , to be top of midfielder goal threat for last 4 games when your team are playing absolute dog poo says an awful lot , try not to get caught up in the hype trains that happen on here , and take minimal hits, if any ....

Morning guys. Need help. Don't think that there is a necessary change needed, but some players have to go in the upcoming weeks. 1FT, 0.3itb

    Karius, Jaku*

    Kos, Jag, McAuley*, Holebas, Kingsley

    Sanchez, Firm, Anto, Bolasie, Capoue*

    Kun, Kaku, Troy

Main target is an TOT defense cover.
Maybe Shaqiri as a punt option?
    Save FT?

    Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I have the same dilemma of Bolasie vs Capoue. I think I'll go Bolasie. He has been creating some chances and not afraid to shoot. Man City defense is not solid.

Capoue is not really shooting a lot (never has been actually). And Bournemouth are solid at home.

    A) Austin (BUR, mci, CHE, hul, LIV, EVE)

    B) Benteke (WHM, lei, LIV, bur, MCI, swa)

Fixtures slightly in favor of Benteke. Austin is imo the better player in the better team.

When looking at the last game of Southampton, I can say the same thing about Austin though. I didn't watch the game but he was involved in almost all highlights of motd. The difference is he didn't score. But maybe you're right, he's gonna stay on my watchlist in any case.

Has Tekkers tekken a pen? He is certainly more nailed though. But think the place at sot is Austins to lose now. And if he does what I want / expect him to do then there is no worry about that.

I think Deeney is the safe choice, but Austin has the potential for greater reward. I can't decide at the moment

The goals are coming for Arnie.

Bony target man knocking them down.
    Shaqiri back with the creativity.
    Fixtures taken a massive upturn.
In a good mood after international goals.

        Heres my issue...
Would you do Puncheon/Capoue to Arnie for a -4?

He is proven no doubt, I'm just wondering if its worth waiting a week or 2 (see if stoke are really turning the corner)

I would give him a great chance of getting something against Sunderland to negate that outlay.

But Capoue and Punch both have decent fixtures. Possibly better to wait until next week

Lot of options in that bracket. Arnie and Siggy both on my watchlist. Main men in sides that have underperformed. As soon as those sides lift off (if maybe) - I'll be looking to pounce.

    Hull def stats

    Goals conceded = 3rd
    GA conc = 1st
GA conc inside box = 1st
    BC conceded = 2nd

Surprised not more Wilson love. Might be a (c) option to.

Hull will be more competitive against Bou though surely. Figures skewed since they have played some of the best attackig teams in the league

      To put those stats in context, however, out of the 7 fixtures so far, Hull have faced;
      LEIC
      MUN
      ARS
      LIV
      CHE

... with both the remaining 'easy' fixtures being away from home. I still think they'll man up

Even though they're both probably going to play, is it fair to have doubts over Sanchez and Aguero as captain? I'm thinking about fatigue and CL.

I'm looking at Austin. Rested, in form and at home to Burnley who have conceded 3 in both of their away PL games.

    Hi all

Which is the better move for my 2ft?

    A) Williams and Antonio out for Bellerin and Snoddy (0.6 left itb)
    B) Williams and Lovren out for Mustafi and Pieters (0.1 and give Antonio another week)

Leading toward B, but it's very boring.

I have Walker in defence already, so thinking Pieters and Mustafi sets me up to not worry about defence. Can also move on Antonio easily.

Thanks! Getting really close to a decision pending pressers now 🙂

Not huge amounts wrong with any of the players you are taking out!

Both would probably strengthen your team slightly though.

If there is no other concerns then I would go for B

Yeah for sure! I'm just trying to build for future plays (Snoddy in for Capoue, Son for Antonio, financed by Kaku/Costa downgrade) and think if I set my defence now I don't have to worry about it for ages...

        Playing the long game haha

Hi! Should i pick Snodgrass as fifth with a pretty crappy defence
    (Vert, Amat, Holebas, Pieters, 4.5)

Or should i downgrade to Høiberg or Allen to upgrade defence?

Other mids are sanchez, Walcott, son, cout.

Thoughts on below WC team..leaves me 0m itb

    Heaton pickford
    vert amat holebas smith pieters
    son wally firmino sanchez fletcher
    kaku kun benteke

    Other options
    A: wally + benteke >> sterling + deeney?
    B: wally + kaku + benteke >> snoddy + ibra + deeney
    C: sanchez + kaku >> sterling + ibra
    D: team is gtg

Succch tough choices, happy with current team but have a massive crush on ibra hence leaning towards B...bit of a lottery tho

1ft, 0 in the bank. Thinking about doing this -8. seems a bit drastic but think I need to, to get my team back on track.
RMT has it paying me back 6.5 points over next 2 gameweeks (so 1.5 point loss overall). What do you think?

Evans + Mane + Ibra to Mustafi + Sanchez + Benteke

Leaves me with a nice balanced team:

    Pickford, Heaton
    Mustafi, Valencia, Williams, Holebas, Amat
    Sanchez, Sterling, Walcott, Snodgrass, Capoue
    Aguero, Lukaku, Benteke

    Foster / JAKU
    Walker/ Lovren/ Smith/ Holebas/ BAINES
    Sanchez/ Firmino/ Antonio/ Capoue/ Snodgrass
    Aguero/ Lukaku/ Deeney

Have 2 FT and 0.1 ITB, planning to sell Baines (5.5). Should I also sell Lovren? got problems with GK too.
    currently thinking about Baines+Lovren+Jaku (-4) -> Mustafi + Pieters + Pickford
    Thanks !
