With seven rounds of fixtures now behind us, Tottenham Hotspur are the only unbeaten team remaining in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side sit just one point off the summit, defeating Manchester City 2-0 last time out to underline their defensive resilience and chalk up a fourth clean sheet of the campaign.

Considering only three other sides – Arsenal, Leicester and Southampton, with three apiece – have mustered more than two shut-outs, Fantasy interest in the White Hart Lane outfit is understandable.

Impressively, Spurs have conceded just three goals so far.

Put into perspective, only one team, Everton, with five – have shipped less than half that total.

After proving their fixture-proof appeal by nullifying the threat of Sergio Aguero and co, we delve into the numbers, comparing Spurs to other resilient rearguards before assessing Pochettino’s backline regulars.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Those who still own Baines, keeping or selling for Ars/Spurs? He might not be on pens as well anymore since Kaku stealing everything so,
Baines to Mustafi a sensible move?

    Clyne - Baines - Pva - Holebas - Amat

    For people doubting Walcott.

Theo Walcott is nearly on par with Alexis for 4m cheaper

      - Total pl minutes : 14296(approximately 159 matches per 90)

      - 58 goals 54 assists = 112, goal/assist per 90 = 0.70

    RMWCT

    Grant Pickford

    Vertonghen Mustafi Smith Holebas Amat

    Sanchez Firmino Sterling Son Walcott

    Deeney Kun Diomande

    0.0 ITB

    Final decisions:

    a) Vertonghen + Smith
    b) Walker/Rose + Cameron/Pieters

    1) Walcott + Diomande
    2) Allen + Benteke

Doesn't really matter to me, could easily have Holebas first on the bench for this game week and Allen would sit on the bench for 99% of the games so as long as he is back until next week or the week after it is fine

Then try to get in Snoddgrass for Capoue in another way. Those 0.4 ITB means you don't have to downgrade too much to find that money. Maybe Coleman to someone cheaper like Smith

    Heaton
    Walker Williams Morgan
    Sanchez Capoue Sterling Firmino
    Deeney Aguero(C) Lukaku

please give me your thoughts regarding my squad, and also:
-who to play between Capoue and Snodgrass?

Any Watford fans about? I might be plucking at straws here but will Watson return to the starting 11 after his ban? I could do with the extra 0.5 I get from selling Capoue (who I never play) to spend on a decent defender...

They are but someone made a great point earlier, he scored 18 goals in a terrible side last time he was in the league and scored against some good teams, he's a goalscorer and as long as they create chances he should get through the tough games.

My biggest worry is not the fixtures but if he'll be rotated around the Europa weeks.

Leave as-is, and wait to see how things shake out after the weekend and mid-week champions league games. Such a big strategy move, for a minus 8, could more likely backfire based on injuries or other players returning from injuries.

I don't think doing a minus 8 and getting rid of sanchez could possibly be a good thing....

Yeah, i'd really need Sanchez to be benched for it to come off for this week (not beyong the realms of possibility)... I think having Theo & Bellerin in the long run is great arsenal coverage & could outscore sanchez... they're only 2.5m more than him!

Yes, if Sanchez were benched (calculated risk), and/or if you were wild carding, but you are not. The minus 8 kills it tactically. Strategically, spread this out over a gw or two, if nothing else emerges as priority.

I think City- KDB is more consistent than Mane/Firminho.

City, but with Sterling instead of KDB... I think Sterling has finally arrived this year, at 8.0 he was ridiculously underpriced, and even at 8.6 he's too cheap compared to KDB.
