With seven rounds of fixtures now behind us, Tottenham Hotspur are the only unbeaten team remaining in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side sit just one point off the summit, defeating Manchester City 2-0 last time out to underline their defensive resilience and chalk up a fourth clean sheet of the campaign.

Considering only three other sides – Arsenal, Leicester and Southampton, with three apiece – have mustered more than two shut-outs, Fantasy interest in the White Hart Lane outfit is understandable.

Impressively, Spurs have conceded just three goals so far.

Put into perspective, only one team, Everton, with five – have shipped less than half that total.

After proving their fixture-proof appeal by nullifying the threat of Sergio Aguero and co, we delve into the numbers, comparing Spurs to other resilient rearguards before assessing Pochettino’s backline regulars.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I'm not sure Koscielny is worth the extra over Mustafi, attacking threat and BPS scores are similar since the German's arrival.

What do people think of Shawcross as an option at Stoke?

Good goal threat since gw4 (Useful map of shot locations here:
    http://public.tableau.com/profile/paul.riley#!/vizhome/PremierLeagueShotMap201617/PremierLeagueShotMap2016-17 )

I think this increased output could continue based on a hypothesis that Stoke have been working more on set pieces since the City match.

Downside is he's slightly lower on bBPS than the other options and tends to pick up yellow cards while costing 0.5 more than the likes of Pieters who also looks just as nailed.

    1. Still Unsure
        9 years, 5 months ago

Pieters for me. 0.5 cheaper, and not as much of a YC risk.

Also, I wouldn't read into Shawcross's goal threat too much - 12 goals in 8 season speaks for itself...

      Evening guys,

How best to use my 2FTs? £0 ITB

      Pickford (Foster)
Bellerin / Walker / Smith (Holebas / Williams)
Sanchez / Sterling / Townsend / Capoue (Bolasie)
      Aguero / Lukaku / Deeney

      I'm thinking Lukaku & Bolasie -> Benteke & Son/Walcott? I have the exact funds.

      Any thoughts? Cheers

Is it worth bringing Sanchez in this week, given the uncertainty about him starting?

I'd like to use my 2 FTs to go:
