Before we profile the best picks for your eight-player DraftKings line up let’s take a look at the matches taking place tonight across Groups E to H.

In Group E, Tottenham Hotspur travel to Bayer Leverkusen where in-form Son Heung-Min spent two years before the move to North London. The South Korean was utilised as a sub in the weekend draw at West Brom, indicating that Mauricio Pochettino sees him having a crucial role to play in Germany.

Real Madrid are heavy favourites at home to a Legia Warsaw side that lost 6-0 in their last away match in Group F to Borussia Dortmund. Meanwhile, the German club visit Lisbon having failed to win their last three matches – a 2-2 draw with Real Madrid was followed by defeat to Bayer Leverkusen and a draw with Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.

Leicester City appear to be focusing on staying top of Group G after losing 3-0 to Chelsea in the league. Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani started on the bench against the Blues so should be fresh for the visit of a Copenhagen side that have kept four successive clean sheets in the league.

Juventus lead Group H on goal difference, with a 4-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb following a goalless draw with second-placed Sevilla. The Italian Champions are clear favourites against a Lyon side that have lost three out of their last four in all competitions.

Group E

CSKA Moscow v AS Monaco

Bayer Leverkusen v Tottenham Hotspur

Group F

Sporting CP v Dortmund

Real Madrid v Legia Warsaw

Group G

Leicester City v FC Copenhagen

Club Brugge v Porto

Group H

Dinamo Zagreb v Sevilla

Olympique Lyonnais v Juventus

Key Picks

As always DraftKings allows changes right up to the 7.45pm kick-offs, allowing you to adjust your line-ups according to the teamsheets.

If you are new to DraftKings, you can check out our player selection guide.

Here are some of the most exciting targets to consider for the Champions League matches this evening:

D – Felipe – Porto – $3,900

A threat at set-pieces, the Brazilian scored against Roma in qualification and has notched a league goal against Sporting Lisbon. Priced very favourably, the centre-back could pick up points at both ends of the pitch in the road trip to Club Brugge.

D – Sergio Escudero – Sevilla – $5,000

The Sevilla defence have kept back-to-back clean sheets so far in Group H, promoting their defensive assets. Left-back Sergio Escudero supplied six crosses last time out to help accrue a 17-point haul against Lyon and boasts some impressive underlying defensive stats in La Liga.

D – Dani Alves – Juventus -$6,500

A goal and assist against Dinamo Zagreb, as well as 17 crosses across two UCL appearances, means we’re considering including the ex-Barcelona defender, despite the hefty price tag.

M – Toni Kroos -Real Madrid – $7,900

The German created eight chances over the first two Matchdays, and Luka Modric’s injury makes his passing range even more important for the Spanish side. Real should guarantee goals against Legia Warsaw, and since the midfielder served up two assists against Betis at the weekend, pairing him with Cristiano Ronaldo looks a worthy strategy.

M – Thomas Lemar – Monaco – $7,600

The youngster scored a goal against Spurs and has impressed in Ligue 1 of late, scoring three goals in five outings. A share of corner duties should bring points from crosses, a crucial part of the scoring system in DraftKings.

M/F – Son Heung-Min/Erik Lamela – Tottenham Hotspur – $7,800/$7,900

Son has scored five goals in seven appearances this term and looks guaranteed to lead the line having started on the bench at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

It could also be another chance for Lamela to shine, given that the Argentine has assisted both of Spurs’ goals this in their European campaign so far.

F – Islam Slimani -Leicester City – $8,200

Another asset benched on Saturday, the Algerian is kinder on the budget than Jamie Vardy ($8,800) and Riyad Mahrez ($9,400) for tonight’s clash. Slimani proved to be decisive for the Foxes last time out in Europe, scoring the winner against Porto to make it three goals in five appearances.

F – Andre Silva – Porto – $8,000

The Portuguese forward has netted three times in the last two league matches and registered four goals for his country during the international break. In that form, he looks good value against a Club Brugge side that have shipped seven goals over the opening two Group G matches.

F – Paulo Dybala – Juventus – $9,800

The Argentinian has also scored three in two league outings to follow the goal against Dinamo Zagreb on Matchday 2. Across 12 appearances in all competitions, the forward has had 35 shots on goal and registered 46 crosses to earn 12.8 FPPG on DraftKings.

F – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – $10,100

A late leveler at home to Hertha Berlin on Friday evening took the Dortmund forward’s tally to six goals in as many appearances. The German outfit have netted eight times in two Champions League clashes and Aubameyang looks their man in form away to Sporting Lisbon.

You're not "losing" 0.1 by getting Holebas in because he's not a season keeper, eventually you're gonna sell and get it back.

I am considering to bring in a Leicester defender for Williams after GW 10. The departure of N'Golo Kante have made them more exposed defensively, but their fixtures are good until mid-December and they are still solid at home.
Any thoughts? Should CL be a reason alone to avoid?

In theory, yes, and if you have the spare transfers. Until any team demonstrates a semi-consistent ability to put up clean sheets, it's a bit of a crapshoot. Plus, as you have suggested, CL games will make Leicester possibly a bit more tired for their EPL matches.

I've gotten to the point now where I am really unhappy with squad. In hindsight I'd have WC'd with these Liverpool and Arsenal easy fixtures in hand. No Walcott, no ARS/LIV defence and I shipped Walker out for Vert - bad move.

38 points this week, only Holebas saved me from a truly traumatic week. Bad transfer again this week - Capoue for Allen, at least I'll take the value. Rashford needs to go - I'm 3rd now after being top of my ML since GW1. Sterling and Son to go from my midfield and obviously Rashford out.

Probably going to stick with 352 for the next two weeks and save my transfers, then Rashford to Austin and maybe Son to either Walcott/Cout/Arnau.

Unhappy with my keeper choices too. Fingers crossed this week.

    Pickford
    Williams / Vert / Amat
    Sanchez (C) / Firmino / Sterling / Son / Allen
    Lukaku / Aguero

    Foster / Rashford / Holebas / Kelly.

My team is similar, if not slightly worse. I don't think you're in as bad shape as you think.

If you shift Foster, I don't think you need to shift Pickford too - he'll still rack up save points. If you get someone like Heaton for Foster you can play him most games.

Why get rid of Vert? Although he doesn't have much attacking threat Spurs have a good chance of clean sheets in their easier games, and he's the cheapest member of their backline so you've pocketed a few 0.1s.

Rashford to Austin is a fairly straight swap, and then you just need to deal with Williams to have a very solid starting 11 in my opinion.

Thanks, I suppose you're right. It was just the incredibly poor week that has hurt me. If Aguero had bagged that pen, it would've been a totally different story.

Foster, Rashford and Williams are going in the next couple once I get my 2 FTs.

Not that bad of a team at all.I dont like 3 5 2 with Allen but might work if short term. Start Holebas over Amat for dear god though.

Watford have only failed to score in one game this season and Holebas offers infinitely more going forward, dont get the dilemma to be honest

Holebas is almost like a fifth mid with the added bonus of clean sheet points. Also much more explosive potential.

Guys what to do with this team, I've had a shocker this GW!?

    Foster
    Koscielny - Walker - Baines
    Sanchez - Antonio - Snodgrass - Firmino
    Aguero - Lukaku - Benteke

    Pickford/ Capoue - Collins - Amat

    0ITB, 1FT

Antonio is going out, even though it's SUN next. I'm OK with it. Collins will have to wait.

Planning something like this for -4.

    A Antonio & Benteke to Walcott & Austin/Wilson/6.8
B Antonio & Snodgrass to Walcott & Allen
    C Antonio & Baines to Walcott & Holebas/4.8?
D Antonio to Lallana for free
    E Anything else?

Thanks for your help guys, really appreciate it.

    Really hoping to bounce back.

    Cheers all.

Arnie. Bony will be above Allen, and Bojan

Bojan, then Arnautovic/Bony, then maybe Allen. So no. He's not really on any set-pieces now that Shaqiri is back on corners.

Planning to get rid of Mr James Collins this week. Now, options are mainly Holebas or Pieters, but I dont think I'll play any of them this week so the transfer feels pointless (apart from joining Holebas price rise).

My other defenders are Mustafi, Valencia, Amat and Friend. So, what to do?

Amat has Watford (H), Mustafa has Middlesbrough (H), Valencia has Jose Mourinho playing dire football v top sides and Chelsa (A).

Anyone else find the scout tweets a bit rubbish now?

The links to articles etc makes it easy to miss the important info. (Not the actual tweets, the scout tweets tab on website)

Some have, will. I think it would require the use of a precious trade or a hit...possibly for a player who may not be used on a regular basis. I solid money move, that makes sense "on paper," yet carries a cost.

Stuck with Ibra and Hazard who blanked. Aguero -2 this week as captain. Antonio moved to right back and I didn't jump on the Walcott bandwagon. Sanchez hasn't scored since I brought him in 2GW ago.

          • 12 Years

          Foster Heaton
          Valencia Mustafi Friend Collins Amat
          Ozil Sterling Firmino Snodgrass Allen
          Aguero Costa Austin

Did the jump up while benching all 4 of Allens goals aswell, which makes me pleased with how the teams performing, but absolutely gutted that I could be much higher up

My team will be similar-ish to that in 3 more transfers but I play 352.
            de Gea/Pickford
Walker, Williams, Holebas (legend), Kone, McAuley
            Son, Sanchez, Antonio, Allen, Puncheon
            Aguero, Diomande, Austin

I am going to bid farewell to Mr Kone, Puncheon and Antonio and give a warm welcome to Mr Walcott, Bellerin and Lallana. Plus I want Butland for de Gea after the break.

Similar-ish? We have 3 of the same players ^^

Looks quite good though. I have some regrets about going Ozil over Wally in my gw4 wc, but he has delivered ok so im not too bothered. Id love to have Bellerin too, but i couldnt find the extra 0,2 i needed. You have good chances of rocketing back up the rankings I think

Hahahah I see, so your definition of similar-ish is that they're actually quite similar? 😉

Aside from the 3 players we both have a defender and midfielder from Arsenal and Liverpool midfielder too.

We shall see. I hope so because I desperately need to catch my rival up.

I'd say Pieters. At least Stoke are playing on the back of a cleanie. Slightly more attacking potential than Amat too
