Saturday’s events conclude at Selhurst Park where Crystal Palace host Jurgen Klopp’s buoyant Liverpool side.

Goals certainly look on the agenda – Palace are yet to keep a clean sheet this season, while Klopp’s defence are without a shut-out on the road in ten away trips.

Christian Benteke will carry the Eagles’ threat against his former club, while Liverpool’s likely benefactors are far more difficult to pin down.

Philippe Coutinho heads into the encounter having earned more than 174,000 transfers in as the most popular target ahead of Gameweek 10.

However, James Milner won’t be featuring on the scoresheet: he misses out having missed training this week with a virus. Alberto Moreno comes in at left-back for the visitors – a potential weak point that will no doubt be targeted by Alan Pardew’s men.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

He has a couple more weeks before I can manoeuvre him out anyway. Maybe he can save himself

Man city can obviously score against anyone but personally think they'll not score loads over the next 3, Middleborough have shown they can defend now, Burnley at home will park, palace will probably ship some

It came to a close last week for me & I sold him.

Don't think he's worth that kind of money long term, and out of form short term.

I'll give him Middlesbrough, then there's two away games, Chelsea and Leicester. Aguero might be enough for those last fixtures..

Need 5 points from Pieters for a draw, 6 for the win on MNF in FFS Champions league tie. No bonus for Coutinho and Deeney assist removed is a killer.

      That Deeney is a blow.

I was a at live match, on phone said he'd scored, then downgraded to an assist to an OG, now removed altogether!

      What happened?

He's getting rage transferred out shortly (although I had sacked him already, will just make me feel better when I press the button).

If I was selecting now I would go for Coutinho, he looks way more involved and has set pieces.

My rival has him though and I need a differential! You might be right though. Not as expensive and I can upgrade defence.

Evening guys....I want to fit Coutinho in, any opinions on my best option?

    Heaton - Foster
    Bellerin - Walker - Pieters - Holebas - Amat
    Sanchez - Walcott - Firmino - Shaqiri - Fletcher
    Aguero - Bony - Austin

2ft and 0.6 in the bank.

    Was thinking:

    Shaqiri --> Coutinho
    and
    Walker --> Morgan

    Sound good?

      I'm going to say no

I think slimani is first team for Leicester and was just rested for ucl

And doubt all of vardy, mahrez, slimani and miss would all start- Musa may go back to being a super sub. Also Ranieri clearly sees him as a winger more than a striker which could limit future returns.

I would expect Okazaki to make way for slimani and musa for albrighton when ucl is sorted for them

If long term though- he could have value around AFCON as Nigeria didn't qualify and both mahrez and slimani will leave at this time, so he will surely get games then

I'm so glad I don't have him, cos if I did, I would still be contemplating whether to keep. He had SOOO many chances to score today and could have had 2 if it wasn't for Heaton. That miss in the 88th minute though.... argh!

Just can't hold him now, not after today, captaining but him over Kun really was a terrible decision!! I'm thinking I might be making a mistake by not going for Sanchez, but Giroud could take his points, then again he might be more of a threat to Wally!!

I've never been a big fan of hits. However, this season I have started reassessing my opinions about them.

I have taken three -4 hits and one -8 hit this season, where the -8 was this week.

Solely Son -> Coutinho made up for the 8 point hit this week and while watching the game I got the feeling that I almost instantly have gained my points back on most occasions. So I decided to look at the immediate effect of my hits this year by the following equation:

    Total IN scores
    - Total Out scores
+/- Captain effect if captaining a purchased player (compared to VC score which I assume would have been the captain otherwise)
    - Transfer cost

This gives me, for the 3 GWs with -4 hits, a net of:
    +10
    +17
    -10
    = +17

This GW I am on a -3 score in immediate effect but with 2 players left to play, thus assuming a positive net effect by the end of the week.

A hit today is a FT tomorrow. There are long-term gains from my hits in addition to the immediate GW results both in points and i team value, but also points gained from FTs the following weeks where the hit is already "taken care of".

Sometimes it is worth holding a transfer and it all depends on the hit, but I found this quite interesting and worthwhile sharing. I believe I will continue being a bit bolder with hits for the rest of the season as there are many explosive players out there and having them at the right time is likely to make up for transfer costs!

      Yes

The Austrian was second amongst defenders in terms of chances created, top for corners and successful tackles and seventh in terms of crosses.

As a result he finished 2015/16 with 25 bonus points, the top tally amongst defenders. Couple that with four assists and 15 clean sheets and it’s clear that Fuchs remains the luxury item in the champions’ backline.

this was last season though? I got Dawson and PVA in based on last year's stats and they've been rubbish !

Why would there be doubts over Austin's playing time? Surely hes nailed in the team now, injury permitting ofc?

Doubts because Boufal is now fit meaning more rotation and then theres whether Puel will prioritise league or Europa games.

Guys next week captaincy is a little tricky for me

Is Austin(HUL) a safer option than all of the below ?

Kun vs (MID) 2 cs in last 2

    Coutinho/Firmino vs (WAT) - 3 cs in last 3

Lukaku vs (CHE) - 3 cs in last 3

Kun is safer than Austin imo

Tough one for us all tbh!
Leaning to one out of Kun, Austin or Coutinho
      hard to decide really

Disappointed in Kos/Gunners defence. Continue to concede despite nice fixtures. And attacking points haven't come. Will stick with but stings when you see cheaper players each week do the business
