Our first members article of the week delves into the Gameweek 12 data.

We analyse Eden Hazard’s home and away performances and compare Harry Kane’s numbers against last season’s Golden Boot displays.

Victor Anichebe’s impact on Jermain Defoe comes under analysis, while we also run the rule over Watford’s raiding wing-backs, Swansea and Palace’s form midfielders and a downturn in output from Everton’s main man.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Junior Stanislas as a fourth budget midfield. Not discussed much on here but his stats are compelling...

I've had him since GW 11 unlucky not to score vs Sunderland that weekend and received assist points last GW vs Stoke (away) they'll go to Arsenal and have a good go Bournemouth.

    Help required thank you please.

    Foster (Grant)

    Alonso, Morgan, Brunt (Amat, Love)

    Hazard, Coutinho, Sanchez, Stanislas (Capoue)

    Lukaku, Kun, Austin

0.3 ITB with 1 free transfer.

    I could go;
    a) Austin and Sanchez out for Kane and Siggy for a (-4)
    b) Lukaku and Stanislas out for Kane and a 4.4 Mid which would mean that the big man Capoue starts (-4)

Backwards moves? Sideways moves or Good moves? Anything else need changing? Much obliged.

Don't do any move that involves Kane this week.

I don't want to bring him in this week but I think Lukaku will drop by 0.2 and Kane may rise another 0.1 so that would be my reason for doing it now.

Premier league Goals 2016 calendar year

    Sergio Aguero – 25
    Harry Kane – 19
    Jermain Defoe – 18
    Diego Costa – 17
    Sadio Mane – 14
    Roberto Firmino – 14

    repost but useful nonetheless

Not at all useful. It is his goals per minute under Pep that is interesting, which is just above Costa and Kane if my memory serves me right.

Time for the 3 C's game - you go into a service station shop and you're only allowed to buy:

    1. A can of soft drink
    2. A pack of crisps
    3. An item of confectionery

Your choices will say a lot about the type of person you are. Right let's have 'em......

    @Kingnidge.

Just seen you comment about Wenger having two options and what you said about he'd have to change formation.

He actually mentioned 442 in an interview over the IB. You'll have to dig a bit maybe because nobody mentioned it on here...but he did say it.

      Found it...

‘He [Sanchez] is doing extremely well and I believe that he enjoys it,’ said Wenger.
‘But we can as well play 4-4-2 with two through the middle as well, because Mesut can play in behind or on the flank. I will see.
‘Let’s not create problems that we don’t have at the moment. Sometimes I can play them together, sometimes separately, but we play so many games that everybody should get the number of games he wants.’

Cheers Wakey.. think he would be mad to tinker his system and can't see it tbh.. a 4-4-1-1 could work potentially with Ozil behind Giroud and Alexis wide i guess.. any system with Ozil shunted wide would make them so much weaker though

Tbh I don't really think it matters. Whether by design or not right now we have Sanchez, Hazard and the Liverpool mids of Firmono, Coutinho and Lala more or less doing what the hell they like (to Sanchez's detrement last week...and Mane is a little more "fixed")

Sanchez has been listed as the striker on paper but he's all over the place in attack (and midfield).

Yeah they are fluid enough that's a good point.. i just think deep down Wenger doesn't trust Giroud anymore as an out and out centre forward week in week out anymore.. in fact i think that's become obvious.. he's sugar coating it in every which way as to not shatter the chaps confidence

Will save FT this week but what do you see as the main concerns for the coming weeks? I'm thinking Lukaku out but would need funds to get Costa or Kane. 0 ITB

    Foster, Pickford
    Walker, Alonso, Holebas,Pieters, Amat
    Hazard, Coutinho, Firmino, Walcott, Capoue
    Aguero, Lukaku, Austin

Potentially if Lukaku doesn't perform this week
Kane has some nice fixtures coming up, but getting him would mean sacrificing one of the mids or Alonso

Yeah don't really want to get rid of either Walker or Alonso. The only mid would be Walcott but got good fixtures. That leaves Aguero! Seriously considering it after this week.

Got him as an Aguero replacement while he was suspended then again about five weeks ago at 10.0. He's been ace. I love captaining him as well, especially when he is in one of those moods where he either gets a brace of a red.

Hey guys, not posted a team for a while and have been treading water. Transferred Kane in this week after another pig from Lukaku. Triple WBA saved me this week, a bleak place to be... Not that happy with Stone and Williams.

    Foster

    Williams Stones McAuley

    Cout Sanchez Hazard Capoue

    Rondon Aguero Kane

    Jaku Gundo (lol) Amat 4.0

    1. Grand Thibauto
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

Amat and 4.0 is a disastrous thing to have. Should sort the defense getting Alonso in and Capoue out for De Roon and upgrade Gundo. You need cash and downgrading Aguero which you may not want to so downgrade Sanchez in that case.

    2. AndyCook
      9 years, 8 months ago

Stones to Cedric, give Sanchez another week and then look at Sanchez Capoue to Firmino and Siggy

Pending no injuries in tonight's Champions League games, I've got a luxury transfer to help sort out my defence. What's more pressing?

    A) Williams > Cedric
    B) Friend > Pieters

I'd prefer to have Cedric and have a starting back three of Kosc, Cedric and Lovren, but is the priority to have fit players approaching the Xmas fixtures?

Wouldn't mind holding onto Friend in the long run, but then Amat becomes my only fall back. Is there ever any merit holding onto injured players?

Looking at my defence I think I can get away with it over Christmas as long as Amat keeps his place. Alongside Alonso I can have 2 defenders playing these over xmas:

    Sunderland (h) / Stoke (h)
    Watford (h) / WBA (a)
    West Ham (h) / Sunderland (h)
    Boro (a) / Swansea (h)
    Sunderland (a) / Boro (a)
    Stoke (h) / Palace (h)

Probably too many away games for my liking but they're not too bad. At some point Brunt or Lovren could become Cedric if that helps, would need to check it out.

Which defenders do you have your eye on for the next 7-8 GWs?
