After Liverpool’s second-half collapse in a seven-goal thriller at the Vitality Stadium, we now make our way to Goodison Park as Everton entertain Manchester United in the 4pm kick-off.

With five goals in as many outings across all competitions, Zlatan Ibrahimovic carries the hopes of many Fantasy managers heading into this one.

Up against a defence with one clean sheet in nine, the Red Devils’ frontman was the second most captained player in Gameweek 14 with just over 13.1% of Fantasy Premier League managers handing him the armband.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial are rewarded with starts after both excelled in the midweek cup win against West Ham.

The Toffees recent downturn in form saw over 231,000 FPL managers part company with Romelu Lukaku last week alone – only Philippe Coutinho was subject to more transfers out ahead yesterday’s deadline.

Now down to 9.5 in price, the big Belgian has netted just once in the last five Gameweeks compared to six goals in his first seven appearances.

Nonetheless, with United managing just two shut-outs in the previous 10 league matches, Ronald Koeman’s side will be optimistic of getting back amongst the goals today.

So I'm one of the lucky ones who are transferring Sanchez back in again. I'm doing:

    Aguero > ?
    Allen > Sanchez

Who to get as 3rd mid? I've got Kane and Costa.

    A Nacho
    B Defoe
    C Austin

I think I've just about fought off the Nacho temptation. His upside is enormous but I've got a nonplaying 5th midfielder, a thin defense, and Benteke on 4 yellow cards. I don't want a player who I might have to turn around and sell immediately. Austin for me.

I guess it. The comes down to how lucky you feel with TOT. You need Kane, a mid is then a luxury. Erickson is a good player no doubt. But Firm at 100% health is far better in my opinion.

Had a poor week , looked a tad injured and non aggressive .
Still one of the best false nine's in the league if not the best.
He will explode in the second half of the season .

Eriksen looks great for week 16-19. Def tempting over Firmino .
I might drop Firm for him since Cout will be back in Gw 19 or so at a cheaper price .

    Boruc Pickford
Azpil van Dijk Pieters Robertson Ake
    Sanchez Hazard Firmino Pedro Hoijberg
    Kane Austin Rondon

Have 1FT and 2.1 ITB. What do you recommend?
I was planning to kick out Pedro for Mane or Eriksen.
Other option is Pedro + Rondon -> Costa + Can.(jerky feeling)

Walker's fixtures are good going forwards and now that Rose and Toby are back, he will be getting a few clean sheets too. Downgrade midfield/attack to get enough for Alonso for somebody else.

I rarely look at stats tables myself and certainly don't use them to make transfers but every one to there own its hard to beat watching the games and taking what you can from that imo

Don't get me wrong, I was a member last season. All that I'm saying is watching games in particular and researching analysis of "experts" and history is the best form of judgement.

"Yes, largely due to the time zone here in Singapore, which is seven-to-eight hours ahead of the UK, I saw maybe four live matches over the course of the season. If there is any advantage to this, then it’s that good performances in the real world don’t always translate into FPL points. I’ve often watched matches in the past and thought that a certain player looked good and transferred them in on that basis, only for them to do nothing except waste another transfer when I had to get them back out. Meanwhile, players that seem to barely touch the ball are somehow racking up the points.

There obviously are advantages to watching matches, though, but not being able to can force you to think about players differently and, perhaps, in terms closer to how FPL is scored. And adopting that mindset can definitely work to your favour."

I'm in the same TZ as you SP. What I'm saying is that you should include several components of data when deciding transfers. Not just what the "experts" on here say. For instance, when I rarely ask for assistance, I check the posters' historical ranks.
BTW, how did you go at Kranji this afternoon?

That's not my quote, I am yet to win FPL 😉
And unfortunately, I live in a comfortable timezone, don't know what Kranji is, watch a lot of games, and fall for many false bandwagons when someone looks sooo amazing in a particular game (Sterling, Walcott and the likes) right before their points dry up 😉

Has anyone looked at the upcoming schedule in its totality? Defenders will be prized much more than they have been so far when teams are playing so many matches in a compressed timeframe. Lots of 1-0 type of scores I think. Defense is the real area to differentiate soon in my opinion.
