Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with a short-term ankle problem. Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi is sidelined due to a hamstring injury, whilst Emre Can is still doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to the Riverside.

Shkodran Mustafi is out for three weeks with the hamstring problem that forced him off during Arsenal’s weekend win over Stoke. Aaron Ramsey remains sidelined with a similar complaint for this evening’s trip to Everton.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with an ankle problem, though Jose Mourinho expects the Armenian international’s absence to be short term. Antonio Valencia is suspended after falling off the Suspension Tightrope with his fifth yellow of the season against Spurs.

Emre Can remains a doubt for Liverpool’s trip to Middlesbrough, though is expected to return in time for next week’s Merseyside derby with Everton at the latest. Jurgen Klopp remains uncertain as to whether Dejan Lovren is available, after the defender was forced off with cramp against West Ham on Sunday.

Junior Stanislas and Andrew Surman will remain unavailable for Bournemouth’s clash with Leicester, Eddie Howe conceded yesterday.

Craig Dawson is suspended for West Brom’s home clash with Swansea after earning a fifth caution of the season during Sunday’s loss at Chelsea.

Marc Muniesa and Glen Johnson are rated as slight doubts for Stoke’s clash with Southampton. Jon Walters and Ryan Shawcross are back in training, with the former more likely to be available.

Charlie Austin is set to stay on the sidelines for around three-to-four months with shoulder ligament damage sustained on Europa League duties last Thursday.

Younes Kaboul is back in training and will be assessed ahead of Watford’s trip to Man City. Valon Behrami is a slight doubt due to illness, though Roberto Pereyra is available, having served a one-match suspension.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Tuesday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

I've replaced Firminio for Mahrez. Good move? I think so.
With no Coutinio and having seen that he's had a haircut, l feel Firminio's lost his attacking edge. It also doesn't look like he mows has that false nos nine position and has been pushed back on the wing.

I feel Mahrez will start to gain his form of last season. Leicester City dismantled Man City. Was it a coincidence that they had such a great result after resting most of their 1st team for the last group stages of the Champions League? Mahrez looked sharp, no champs league to worry about till mid February, takes penalties, supplies sublime assist for a back in form Vardy.

I feel it in my bones that Mahrez will score heavily in the next few game weeks. Anyone agree with me?

Mahrez was brilliant against City, him or Payet for Firmino is the way forward!

I had this feeling and put him in my version of the scout picks for this week, I think he could come good but funds don't allow this for me.

Firmino has been awful the last few weeks and I'm happy missing out on the start of his next turn of form if it also means missing out on a few more blanks, not even exciting to watch from a fantasy point of view.

I think it is too early to do that kind of move. Leicester got a perfect start and City was awful. Will be exciting to see if they can build on their league form now

I think Leicester will get better because they are better than relegation fighters. But the weekend result was a product of an open attacking city style which was so easy to counter against because it is possible to isolate city defenders one on one. The weeks previous illustrate that marking an out of confidence mahrez out of the game and stopping the supply to vardy has stopped Leicester playing. There was a stat three weeks ago- mahrez supplied one successful pass to vardy in Seven games. One. There is an extreme issue there. Personally I think firm will outscore mahrez but I like the punt nonetheless. Firm is off atm and why not take a risk.

Mahrez was up against Kolarov who was so advanced and pretty much refused to defend.

Most teams will man mark Mahrez, not ignore him!

Yaya Toure saying he "didn't intentionally consume alcohol" when caught for drink-driving sounds as feeble as a bloke in A&E who gets a toy car lodged up his bum after he "accidentally" sat on it when naked.

He's not been a pick for sooooo long now due to playing CDM or benched that it's criminal.

When Zaha goes to Africa will that finally put Cabaye in the No10 spot with Puncheon moving wide to replace Zaha?

    Puncheon Cabaye Townsend
    Benteke.

If it does then he's on most free kicks and corners..and maybe pens...The odd time he has played No10 his stats have been good. Palace fixtures are brill at that time.

I've just put in Sigurdsson for Pedro.Siggy looks great. Does almost everything for the Swans...tales corners, free kicks, pens and can assist and score. Some good games for the Swans coming up. I feel you must have Siggy in your team NOW. Who agrees or disagrees with me?

Great pick no doubt, not a MUST though imo.

who's playing holebas? I don't think citeh keep a cleannie this game week, and holebas freekicks and corners probably their best route to goal imho

    thoughts?

You should do. City could defend well but they choose to send all their players up the other end of the pitch. I think any team can score against them....and possibly will.

Stones is big NO for me. Man City's defence look so weak and his performance against Leicester was shocking...giving a suicidal back pass to allow Vardy's ha trick. Why is he in Man City's defence let alone England's. I would go for Man Utd's Jones instead.

I agree with all of this and I dont rate him as a player but with Kompany out, that price and home to Watford I dont mind keeping. Dont think Jones will keep his place for that long and CPL scoring freely atm. Would love some Spurs but though to fit in.

Which move looks best for this gwk?

    A. Austin - > Carroll

    B. Austin & Coleman - > Anichebe & Alonso - 4

    C. Austin & Koscielny - > Carroll & Alonso -4

    D. Save Ft. Play Capoue instead of Austin

(Carroll can be any 6.5striker, Alonso could be Toby)
