Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with a short-term ankle problem. Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi is sidelined due to a hamstring injury, whilst Emre Can is still doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to the Riverside.

Shkodran Mustafi is out for three weeks with the hamstring problem that forced him off during Arsenal’s weekend win over Stoke. Aaron Ramsey remains sidelined with a similar complaint for this evening’s trip to Everton.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with an ankle problem, though Jose Mourinho expects the Armenian international’s absence to be short term. Antonio Valencia is suspended after falling off the Suspension Tightrope with his fifth yellow of the season against Spurs.

Emre Can remains a doubt for Liverpool’s trip to Middlesbrough, though is expected to return in time for next week’s Merseyside derby with Everton at the latest. Jurgen Klopp remains uncertain as to whether Dejan Lovren is available, after the defender was forced off with cramp against West Ham on Sunday.

Junior Stanislas and Andrew Surman will remain unavailable for Bournemouth’s clash with Leicester, Eddie Howe conceded yesterday.

Craig Dawson is suspended for West Brom’s home clash with Swansea after earning a fifth caution of the season during Sunday’s loss at Chelsea.

Marc Muniesa and Glen Johnson are rated as slight doubts for Stoke’s clash with Southampton. Jon Walters and Ryan Shawcross are back in training, with the former more likely to be available.

Charlie Austin is set to stay on the sidelines for around three-to-four months with shoulder ligament damage sustained on Europa League duties last Thursday.

Younes Kaboul is back in training and will be assessed ahead of Watford’s trip to Man City. Valon Behrami is a slight doubt due to illness, though Roberto Pereyra is available, having served a one-match suspension.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Tuesday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

I have Fonte and its hard to tell with four away games in their next 6 and TOT, WBA sandwiched inbetween. I'm swapping Fonte for Jones after the deadline tonight.

Yes l the Soton will keep clean sheets for the next few weeks. Tad worried that Cédric was rested for their weekends game but hoping this was just because he played in Europe.

Boro likely to be without Negredo and Ramirez. Better for Liverpool and Firmino's prospects.

    A. Austin - > Carroll

    B. Austin & Coleman - > Anichebe & Alonso - 4

    C. Austin & Koscielny - > Carroll & Alonso -4

    D. Save Ft. Play Capoue instead of Austin

(Carroll can be any 6.5striker, Alonso could be Toby).

    Hi guys my team is:

    Foster/ Pope
    Alonso/Koscielny/Peiters Amat/Tarkowski
    Zaha/ Firmino/Sanchez/Walcott Meyler
    Costa/Kane/Iheanacho

    2.9 itb

was thinking on the below but am not too sure:

    1. Firmino to Hazard and Koscielny to Alderweirald -4
    2. Firmino to Payet and Kosc to Alder -4
    3. Firmino to Eriksen/Alli/Siggy for free
    4. Other?

    Has anyone else found themselves trying to steer clear of attackers vs middlesborough defence? I've been naturally doing it without looking at the stats. However the stats back up my blind faith;

Conceded just 7 goals in the last 8 gameweeks with three clean sheets and only once conceding more than one in a game. Included in the last 8 games were (mci, ars, CHE)

Prior to that they conceded 7 in 3 games, seem to have tightened up. Another reason for me to not have Firmino and not worry about Siggy.

No not really. City will need to bounce back and he is central to most of what City does. And after those bad games he will have a point to prove. Kane is the safer option though.

With this lot, would you upgrade
    A. Save
    B. Gundogan -> Alli or someone cheaper
    C. Firmino -> Eriksen / Payet

Grant - Pickford - 1 FT, 2.8 in the bank.
    Kos - VVD - Lovren - Holebas - Evans
    Haz - Firmino - Siggy - Gundogan - Fletcher
    Kane - Costa - Iheanacho

    1. greghammer95
      • 16 Years

I'd upgrade someone, I like Eriksen but biased as I got him in for the Swansea match. Payet a good option if you want to save funds Antonio is also a good option. The question is really who do you want?

      1. Daaf
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 3 months ago

I want the one who will give me most points 😉 Edging towards Payet because he is more fun to watch and is essential for West Ham while Eriksen is more of a cog in the machine and I already have Kane. Spurs also have terrible form, aside from that Swansea walkover, and there is always Alli and Son who could prove FPL options.

The long term fixtures are great for both and next two are exactly the same. It's a coin flip, having both would be great but that's not gonna work.

    Walker Cedric Evans (Amat Williams)
    Zaha Hazard Sanchez Firmino (Allen)
    Costa Kane (c) Deeney

    0ITB and 0FT.

what has happened to David Silva? 3 assists all season. I know people will immediately say 'KDB' but that is pitiful for a player of his calibre. its not like he has been hampered by injuries as he has been in the past. he is playing regularly yet doing nothing. is he just not suited to Pep?

Save FT or drop Mustafi & Firmino before they lose value?!?

    Pickford
    McAuley, Smith, Cedric
    Sanchez, Hazard, Firmino, Allen
    Kane, Costa, Defoe

    (Jaku, Amat, Mustafi, Can)

    Dembele out for Spurs!

Is the Dembele/Kane effect still occuring does anyone know?

He started the last 2 home games when Kane did well - West Ham and Swansea.

Well Dembele is way more creative than Wanyama, so it will affect the whole team not just Kane.

He scored twice against West Ham when Son replaced Dembele so I think we can safely say there is no theory
