Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with a short-term ankle problem. Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi is sidelined due to a hamstring injury, whilst Emre Can is still doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to the Riverside.

Shkodran Mustafi is out for three weeks with the hamstring problem that forced him off during Arsenal’s weekend win over Stoke. Aaron Ramsey remains sidelined with a similar complaint for this evening’s trip to Everton.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with an ankle problem, though Jose Mourinho expects the Armenian international’s absence to be short term. Antonio Valencia is suspended after falling off the Suspension Tightrope with his fifth yellow of the season against Spurs.

Emre Can remains a doubt for Liverpool’s trip to Middlesbrough, though is expected to return in time for next week’s Merseyside derby with Everton at the latest. Jurgen Klopp remains uncertain as to whether Dejan Lovren is available, after the defender was forced off with cramp against West Ham on Sunday.

Junior Stanislas and Andrew Surman will remain unavailable for Bournemouth’s clash with Leicester, Eddie Howe conceded yesterday.

Craig Dawson is suspended for West Brom’s home clash with Swansea after earning a fifth caution of the season during Sunday’s loss at Chelsea.

Marc Muniesa and Glen Johnson are rated as slight doubts for Stoke’s clash with Southampton. Jon Walters and Ryan Shawcross are back in training, with the former more likely to be available.

Charlie Austin is set to stay on the sidelines for around three-to-four months with shoulder ligament damage sustained on Europa League duties last Thursday.

Younes Kaboul is back in training and will be assessed ahead of Watford’s trip to Man City. Valon Behrami is a slight doubt due to illness, though Roberto Pereyra is available, having served a one-match suspension.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Tuesday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Foster (Jak)
    Kosceilney, Alonso, Vertonghen, xxxxxx, Amat
    Sanchez, Hazard, Siggy, xxxxxx, Capoue
    Kane, Costa, Anichebe

10.5m to spend on a 4th defender and 4th mid, who's the best long term combination ?

    A) Holebas and Phillips
    B) Valencia and Can (next GW)
    C) Other who ?

B would give me United and Pool coverage.

Teams will have more than fixture listed on the My Team page of the FPL website. It's won't until teams have games that need to be rearranged due to postponements for weather, cup commitments etc

Nestorc - when it's a "double GW" all fixtures will be listed as taking place in the same week.

A DGW is created when fixtures are re-scheduled for reasons such as cup involvement, or bad weather. Therefore, it will just be selected teams that have two fixtures (and no fixture in a different GW).

The midweek fixtures here were scheduled deliberately, so it is just business as usual.

    Morning all !
    Gtg?

    Heaton
    Amat, Evans, Pieters
    Hazard, Sanchez, Firmino, Phillips
    Kane (c), Costa, Origi
    Subs: Robinson, Gundogan, Lovren, Stones

0.8 itb, already done lukaku to Kane
    Any suggestions?
Want to get rid of Stones/Lovren/Gundogan but not sure any are worth the -4 hit when Im currently top of both my leagues and 6th in FFS members league...

Watford at home and nobody dare pick a City player this week...I suspect even those with Nacho from last week are nervous.

It's a funny felling having Nacho.

I'm worried about his playing time, excited about the potential if he does play, but mostly just glad I don't have to try and pick an Austin replacement this week.

When you put it like that, weird isn't it. I've nacho but far from confident of even his minutes (unfortunately that third striker position is looking a bit difficult to fill atm)!

      1. Dr Dream
        • 13 Years
        9 years, 3 months ago

Carroll or Llorente...I can't see past those two. I'd keep Nacho this week and keep your fingers crossed (a bit sad that it comes to fingers crossed)

          • 9 Years

agree Llorente is looking better and better, just don't fancy a SWA treble up. If I thought that Andy would stay fit and get the minutes I would def go him!

Wouldn't touch Carroll at the moment, madness in my opinion.

I feel Kane is more of a gamble. Yes, he can get u more points, but he can also blank. Costa will get steady points

What to do with this lot?

    Pickford, Grant
    Kosc, Brunt, Holebas, Amat, Lovren
    Sanch, Haz, Siggy, Snody, Redmond
    Kane, Costa, Defoe

    1FT 0.1ITB

Thinking to fix shaky rearguard and ditch Redmond:
    A. Kosc > Alonso
    B. Lovren > Jones
    C. Lovren, Redmond > Alonso, 4.8 enabler (-4)
    D. Kosc, Lovren, Redmond > Alonso, Rose, 5.2 enabler (-8)

    Cheers

I did. Over the next two matches I can see it paying dividends. Then look to ship Eriksen for Siggy.

Bit of a choice dilemma at the moment...

    Pickford (Grant)
    Alonso -------- Cedric (Amat, ---------)
    Sanchez Hazard Firmino Sigurdsson (------)
    Costa Kane Anichebe

    Which option is better?
    A) Clyne, Bellerin, Can
    B) Bellerin, Walker, Fletcher
    C) Monreal, Vertonghen, Phillips

Captain Costa or Sanchez....decisions decisions! Sanchez is my differential in my ML hmm, but I am only 30 points behind

Sánchez. Always capable of an explosive return.

Lovren and Firmino both dropping tomorrow AND losing me sale value. Sanchez and Jones rising.

    Lovren/Firmino > Sanchez/Jones is a -8 ....

    Yes or No

It depends on Jones really. Will he be worth 4 more points in the longer run than another budget pick like Friend or Aké? I don't know

Not sure where this rumour started that Hull are the worst defence in the league...http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/6543/ Not far off but there's worse.

Maybe they should start with how many chances are being conceded of late. Hull are rubbish but Sunderland are rubbisher.

Hey yo ladies, long time no see, have I lost it completely if I replace Austin with Llorente? Or should I just swap him with Origi? Big Andy an option as well? Bah!
