Fantasy managers are treated to the remaining eight matches of Gameweek 16 this Wednesday evening, with a trio of
encounters getting underway at 7.45pm.

Sadio Mane and Divock Origi are the form men as Liverpool look for a first win in three at the Riverside. Roberto Firmino arrives on the back of four straight blanks and was second only to Charlie Austin for transfers out in the Gameweek.

With Eden Hazard absent, the stage is set for Diego Costa as Chelsea visit Sunderland. The Blues frontman was the most captained player in Fantasy Premier League for Gameweek 16, with 23% handing him the armband.

West Ham embark on the first of three very favourable fixtures, with Dimitri Payet and Michail Antonio on our radars for the visit of Burnley.

In the 8pm matches, all eyes will be on Captain Poll winner Harry Kane as Spurs welcome Hull to White Hart Lane. We’ll also be monitoring Scout Picks duo Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen against the struggling Tigers.

In-form pair Christian Benteke and Zlatan Ibrahimovic go head-to-head as Palace welcome United to Selhurst Park. With returns in six of the last seven, Wilfried Zaha was the most transferred in player for Gameweek 16.

With Sergio Aguero suspended, faith in Man City has dwindled ahead of what should be a plum home clash against Watford. Kevin De Bruyne is the man most likely as the Etihad side look to recover from back-to-back defeats.

We’re also keeping a keen eye on Differential Sofiane Boufal as Southampton head to Stoke. Having bagged the winner at home to ‘Boro, the Moroccan could be set to step up in the absence of Charlie Austin, promoting his prospects as a mid-price midfield candidate ahead of some fine fixtures.

West Brom have their work cut out to stop Gylfi Sigurdsson as Swansea make their way to the Hawthorns.

The Swans’ playmaker has racked up four goals and as many assists in eight appearances under Bob Bradley and faces a defence with one clean sheet in the last 12 Gameweeks.

Matt Phillips and Salomon Rondon also have the chance to maintain momentum tonight – Swansea have conceded 12 goals in four road trips since their new manager was installed.

    Good to save? 🙂

    Pickford
    Alonso, Jones, Brunt
    Sanchez, Mane, Sigurdsson, Phillips
    Benteke, Kane(c), Costa

    Heaton, McAuley, Capoue, Amat

3m in the bank. I could get Lallana in for Phillips or even make Capoue a 4.2m...

I need some help! Third red arrow in a row, and I’m falling in all my mini-leagues.

    Team:
Foster* / Heaton (guess who was on my bench today)
    Alonso / Clyne / Cédric* / Holebas / Evans*
Sánchez / Firmino* / Hazard / Fletcher* / de Roon
Kane (blanks as soon as I get him) / Costa / Benteke*
1 free transfer, £0.5 in the bank

    Team value: £105,9
Live rank: 157k (fallen 100k the last three gameweeks)
Points this gameweek: 43 (thanks for 4 of them, captain Kane)

Obviously I should have a better 4th mid, but Fletcher + £0.5 only gives me £4.9.

    A. Firmino to Lallana this week—but then Firmino will score 10 goals the next three gameweeks and I will likely just give up. This would’ve freed up some funds to upgrade Fletcher to someone decent next week however.

    B. Cédric to Fonte to get more than zero points from Southampton clean sheets. But then I’ll spend all the money I‘ve saved up, which means I’m stuck with Fletcher and de Roon.

    C. Evans to Brunt—and this way use my spare cash (see above).

    D. Get Rondón in for Benteke and Zaha in for Fletcher (can’t have four West Brom players, unfortunately) for minus four.

    E. Save and see what happens next week. Perhaps Hazard shows up, Cédric plays and Firmino gets a goal? Sounds highly unlikely, but you never know.

F.... off Kane and get Ibrahimovic.

Tell that to this guy: https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/team/30327/event/16

I guess you would suggest downgrading at least one of them to Grant or Pickford. I’ve had them both since they were £4.5. Which combo do you have?

My plan was to wait till Butland was back, get him in for Foster—and then wait till Grant was back to £4.0 (or lower if that’s possble?) to get him as my backup. But it seems Butland won’t be back anytime soon.

    Pickford (Jaku)
    Alonso Pieters Cedric* (Holebas* Amat)
Hazard* Sanchez Eriksen Siggy (de Roon)
    Kane Costa Nacho*
    1FT 0.6ITB

Where to start with this lot? Nacho to Origi seems the obvious option but could go 352 and do Nacho->4.5 and de Roon->Lallana

      http://www.liverpoolfc.com/match/2016-17/first-team/middlesborough-vs-liverpool-live-match-day-blog

90: Divock Origi has gone down off the ball here and needs treatment. Meanwhile, the fourth official indicates three minutes will be added on. Liverpool make a change and Trent Alexander-Arnold comes on in place of Divock Origi.

Klopp reveals Divock Origi has a "knock and a little bit of pain" but he doesn't think it's too serious.
