One Gameweek. Eight teams. Four fixtures. Six words: Anytime Goalscorer and Clean Sheet odds.

Welcome to another episode of Paddy Says.

We have a small but perfectly formed schedule to talk about today. But before we can do that, we need to do this, ‘this’ being a look at the Enhanced Offers available for new customers signing up with Paddy today.

Such a reduced Gameweek means there’s only one Premier League price on offer and it’s Liverpool 5-1 to beat Burnley.

The Reds were back to their best in the 3-1 win over Arsenal last week and will entertain a Burnley side that currently has fewer points (two) on the road than a driver learning to turn their car around.

Three. They do three-point turns.

Moving on.

As a bit of a bonus, and seeing as it’s an all-Premier League affair, Paddy has also come up with two great prices on Monday night’s FA Cup quaeter-final clash between Chelsea and Manchester United.

The perceived wisdom is that Chelsea will prevail, and you can get a massive 10-1 on that happening.

But should the Red Devils take the spoils, there’s a whopping 16-1 available on that.

Enhanced winnings are credited in free bets. Be sure to check the terms and conditions that apply on all those offers and, of course, we should state that all these specials are only available to those aged 18 or over. If you’re going to wager, please always gamble responsibly.

For such a small Gameweek, the winning margin in our captaincy poll was enormous.

It was a Romelu Lukaku landslide, as befits a man who has been bought by nearly 300,000 new Fantasy managers this week, making him the third most popular purchase as Everton welcome West Brom to Goodison Park.

Paddy has duly slapped the lowest Anytime Goalscorer price (2.00) on the big Belgian, with another heavily bought player, Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, at 2.10 to score against Burnley on Sunday.

The most transferred-in player of the week, however, is Swansea hit man Fernando Llorente, who has enjoyed a 305,000+ surge in ownership as the Swans travel to Hull City.

The Spaniard has the form – three goals in his last two starts – and a certain amount of pedigree as three of his last five strikers have come away from home.

Another popular Gameweek 28 buy has been Bournemouth midfielder Josh King. His 3.25 price to score at home to West Ham looks generous for a man with back-to-back goals (and five from his last six starts) who is currently his team’s penalty taker as well.

CLEAN SHEET ODDS – GAMEWEEK 28

Liverpool top the clean sheet odds despite managing only one shut-out from their last eight matches.

Much of that is down to visitors Burnley, who do less damage on the road than a repaired pot-hole.

Despite all that, Nathaniel Clyne is the only Liverpool defender in the top 30 for transfers-in this week.

Only one defender makes it into the top ten, and it’s Everton’s Seamus Coleman.

The Toffees are 2.00 to blank visitors West Brom this afternoon, which would make it three clean sheets from their last four starts. A lot of Coleman’s appeal, however, comes from his attacking threat – the Irishman has a goal and three assists from his last six matches.

Hull (2.87) and Swansea (3.50) will be taking part in a good old-fashioned relegation dog-fight today.

A point would suit the Swans more, although they haven’t kept an away clean sheet since Gameweek 9, while the Tigers will be looking for their first shut-out since they managed back-to-back blanks in Gameweeks 23 and 24.

Fantasy managers seem wary. No Hull defenders make it into the top 30 for purchases this week, while the two Swansea men who do – Martin Olsson and Alfie Mawson – have a genuine goal threat to add to their appeal.

    So i just realised that I cant get Llorente because I have three swansea players. That leaves me with just lukaku up front. Any other striker worth getting this week? Origi worth a punt?

          What a set of fixtures ...

          My starters this week:

          Foster

          Williams Evans (Amat)

          Siggy Coutinho Lallana Lanzini (Maloney)

          Lukaku

          So 8 def starters, 2 with potential minutes.

          1FT 3.5m
          is it worth spending when 2fts might be useful for next week and the full whack of fixtures? My ML rival only has 5 or 6 starters.

          Armband to Lukaku, Couts or Siggy?

          I have a feeling we will have the full gamut of emotions this game week. Even though there will likely be less of a gap between the highest and lowest scorers. With so few fixtures some will curse their hits and others will think they have mastered this great game of ours cos' they made a few successful hits.
          For some of the casuals this will be the time to throw the towel in and for dedicated players, they will be thinking this is when I start my rise up the ranks.
          Rough with the smooth will be interesting. Feels good to be sat with all chips left to try and smooth over the effects of these two mad gameweeks. It's a game of patience and sometimes you have to discipline yourself to hold back.
          Good luck to all this week, hope all your expectations are met.

          Hits are flying around like they are 50% off this week, but isn't everyone loading up on players from 8 teams with no double GW?

          That's a lot of non double GW players to shift out of your team.

          Is everyone going hit crazy and being too shortsighted for 4 fixtures that look like low-scoring games?

            ...that's what a wildcard is for.

            Look at it this way...this gameweek is like a DGW in that if you're fielding a full or nearly-full team...every man you're playing that isn't playing in a badly-planned team is equivalent to that player having an extra fixture over your rivals.

            ...this does need to be tempered by not taking silly amounts of hits though.

            Caroll (c) it is...Too many Lukaku captainers.

            If it works, I get a solid lead in my ML. Also, Bou missing too many defenders, Big Andy can take advantage of that
            *Trying to justify my decision....

                Says he wants silverware...otherwise the season is a failure.

                FA cup the only one looking remotely possible.

              Team G2G? Took a -8 and only have 10 playing due to Firmino's injury.

              Heaton
              Coleman/Baines/Brunt
              Mane/Sigurdsson/King
              Lukaku/Llorente/Barnes

                Solid.

                I've got 8 starters (2 possible minutes from bench). 1 FT and 3.5 itb. Worth spending or hold on for a full GW? Thoughts?

                  Depends mate, what's your team look like? As long as you've got the main pool of players

              It seems that my ML rival has activated his WC. He cannot cancel it, right ?

              So, he should have 11 to play with no hits while I am on -8 and probably -12 before deadline.

              Mane - Siggy - Phillips (Eriksen, De Roon)
              Lukaku - Llorente (Aguero)

              Which hits would you recommend?
              A: Phillips -> Coutinho
              B: Phillips -> Lanzini
              C: Phillips -> Antonio
              D: Aguero -> Carroll

                Depends on your defence, which I can't see. I'd go B or C (I did C) as you want to keep Kun and they're both cheaper than Couts (tbf I already have him...)

                  My defence as follow:

                  Jaku (Heaton)
                  Baines - Olsson - Coleman (Alonso, Walker)

                  I can get both Coutinho & Lanzini, but it will be -16. It seems too much.
