The shortened Gameweek 28 comes to a conclusion this afternoon when Liverpool entertain Burnley at Anfield.

With Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho both among the top 10 players transferred in this week, many Fantasy managers will be hoping the Liverpool midfield duo can wreak havoc against a Burnley side that has managed just one clean sheet on their travels this season.

Mane has produced five double-figure hauls at Anfield, helping explain why over 8% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bosses have handed the Senegal international the captain’s armband.

Coutinho, meanwhile, found the back of the net in the 3-1 defeat to Leicester City in Gameweek 26, and slowly looks to be returning to his best form.

Roberto Firmino was also brought in by over 103,000 FPL managers, but the Brazilian has been ruled out due to a knock, with Divock Origi taking his place in the starting XI.

The Reds will have to get past Tom Heaton though, who returns for Burnley after missing the 3-2 defeat to Swansea City due to illness, providing a boost for his 19% ownership in FPL.

Liverpool did, of course, lose 2-0 to the Clarets in the reverse fixture in Gameweek 2, and will be hoping to improve on their dismal record against teams from the bottom half, having lost to Swansea City, Hull City and Leicester over the last six Gameweeks.

If Kane is out, would you do :

    A. Firmino/Mane > Alexis
    B. Firmino/Mane to Son, Carroll to Kun [-4]?

    King Siggy Ericksen Mane Firm
    Lukaku Costa Carroll

front 8. Either A or B will give me bench headache.

I'd say Arsenal, got 3 DGWs to come involving the games Southampton (A), Leicester (H) and Sunderland (H) but won't have a game in GW 34

Chelsea only one DGW at the moment which would include Watford (H) could be two depending on how their FA Cup tie goes on Monday.

Can you see any of the below norms changing any time soon?

    - Costa not scoring double digit scores
    - Liverpool dropping points against weaker teams
    - Sanchez being consistent
    - McAuley getting lucky atracking points
    - Gabiadinni keeps scoring

    1. Fred54
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 3 months ago

-Costa not getting double digits is a strange one, certainly involved enough everytime I've seen him play. However Conte says he wants CS, so maybe they don't want to go for loads of goals and play expansive football after taking the lead.

Liverpool being Liverpool, they had great form at the start of the season, God knows if they'll ever get it back.

Sanchez, guy is a trier and decent fixtures. Just hope he can drag the rest of Arsenal up with him otherwise getting the odd assist will be poor value.

McAuley, as long as WBA keep getting corners. But don't really expect much from him.

Gabs, Puel seems to just have the tactic or we'll score more than you at the moment.
