Leicester City’s decision to part company with Claudio Ranieri back in late February came in for some harsh criticism at the time yet the impact under Craig Shakespeare has forced a sharp reassessment of the Foxes’ potential.

Four straight wins in all competitions, scoring three times in their trio of Premier League matches since the Italian left the King Power Stadium, bodes well ahead of back-to-back home encounters with Stoke and Sunderland and a trip to Crystal Palace in the next four rounds of fixtures.

With that in mind, we take a look at the Foxes’ displays since Ranieri was relieved of his duties as Fantasy Premier League managers consider a short-term move for their in-form assets.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

When Austin returns will he oust Gabbiadini from the first team?

Probably not, but Gabbi will almost certainly be subject to rotation out of the starting lineup. Puel loves rotation as much as Pep

Depends if he hits the ground running i guess, Gabbiadini would be a hard man to bench though wouldn't he given his form prior to the injury.

Gabbi was a Puel signing so can't see it. May get pushed out to the wing or they could play both up front

I get your point too, Costa rarely gets 2 or 3. I'm just being boring and going for a reliable goalscorer.

He has been very consistent this season and could get a couple of goals so makes sense, why complicate things unnecessarily i guess, some weeks we fancy a punt, others we don't, Costa will do what Costa does.

Mane can either be explosive, or a total let down! I'm currently on Costa (C) as well..... But MIGHT switch to Mane if I'm feeling particularly ballsy Friday night/Saturday morning!

I agree, would feel optimistic with the arm band on either to be honest. Still contemplating Llorente to Vardy (C) on a FT. That will be a last minute decision i think.

Not yet, but seriously tempted! I'm half hoping for Costa to be ruled out (which isn't going to happen...) to make my mind up for me! Otherwise it would be Lukaku ---> Vardy this week.... Or get Vardy in next week for Andre Gray (and downgrading a midfielder) for free, which I like the sound of a lot!

I'm not convinced Leicester will score many against Stoke but next weeks match against Sunderland looks very tasty. Sanchez will be my captain then though, for me it's a no brainer given his form and what he did to West Ham away this season. Plus I'll be at the match so can't resist.

Depends on which Stoke turn up! The Stoke that got battered by Spurs, or the stoke that kept a clean sheet against City (and my TC Aguero!)

Yeah, Sanchez captain next week is a no-brainer, and as you say, the excitement of being at the match... You can't not captain him haha!

Arsenal have been very poor recently though! Painful to watch really... Still on track to win the FA Cup for the third time in 3 seasons though! 😉

this is all lost in translation. He wants to stay at arsenal and is really happy with his personal life there. He just needs them to step up and win something.

If they don't by the time his contract ends he will leave to go somewhere else, doesn't necessarily mean he stays in london

Come on Bemba the guy is quite clearly unhappy at the situation at Arsenal right now and anything less than league and CL titles just doesn't cut the mustard for him.. he's 29 in December and any sniff of an offer from an elite club which can offer him the chance of competing for those titles and he will be out the door quicker than you can say OMG

I'm on a wildcard. Siggy causing biggest headache. Not in future plans, but feel I need him this week. Either way he's a gonna in the next 2 weeks anyway. Which of the two combos looks best? A) Seems wrong, to have 2 transfers planned on a WC. B) Minimises future transfers but then I go Siggyless this week.

      DDG Cabellero
      Alonso Koscielny Valencia *** ***
      Sanchez Alli Eriksen *** JWP
      Lukaku Vardy Negredo

      A) Walker, Yoshida, Siggy (Will need to use 2 FT's in gw32: Siggy, Vardy > Zaha, Ibra)

      B) Rose, Bertrand, Zaha (Will leave cash for Vardy to Ibra in gw32, only using 1FT, save other)

Or another way of looking at it is Siggy (MID) vs Negredo (swa) +4, as I'd play Negredo if I went B and would save a future FT so saving 4 points.

          I asked mane vardy above.

Very lil between them with only one vote really for vardy.

I think mane of my 2 is the better choice. Time will tell

Yeah not much in it. I'm inclined to go Vardy I think although I think it could be Mahrez in the points more than Vardy

Awesome fixtures after this week and about time for Arsenal's late season run.

Has anyone looked at Southamptons defensive stats? They actually seem some of the best in the league over the last six games.

Surely they have got to be due for some clean sheets soon. I expected a goal fest in the game against Bournemouth but maybe if wont be full of goals like we may think, or is it a case of the stats are missing something?

Am I the only one not 100% sold on Valencia?

His upcoming fixtures are not promising. That coupled with rotation risk and a poor double gameweek is making me look elsewhere,

Im willing to be convinced otherwise.

Starting to think Bertrand is a better option than Valencia

Problem you have is 4.6 x5 = 23 and 4.1x6= 24.6 so over the next few weeks if they keep at average score then valencia will get more points.

Ok so there is a chance of rotation with valencia but southampton dont really have anything to play for so they may start to relax.

Fair point but could still bring in Valencia for the double game week later. Would you want to though with Burnley & Man City away? Plus Southampton have 2 dble gameweeks to come so Berty would be a season keeper

Tadic is a pretty good option if you don't have a wildcard and you're starting to prepare otherwise I think theirs better options.

personally if any id go C but leicester vs sunderland is much more inviting than Leicester vs Stoke so keeping Kun against the shambles that is Arsenal at the mo wouldnt be that much different I dont think.

After saying this im taking a 4 point hit to finally get Kane out for Vardy.
