Following Middlesbrough’s failings, two more double Gameweek sides are on show on Sunday afternoon, with Manchester United first to make their bow.

They travel to Turf Moor to take on a Burnley side who have been formidable on home turf – indeed, 32 of their 36 points have been gained in front of their own fans. With both Hull City and Swansea City earning victories, Sean Dyche’s combative side will also have every motivation to earn a result in today’s encounter.

For United, there is no doubt that the main Fantasy interest surrounds striker Marcus Rashford who it is presumed will accept the responsibility of scoring their goals with Zlatan Ibrahimovic now sidelined.

However, having attracted more than 457,000 new owners ahead of Saturday’s deadline, the 19-year-old is only selected for the bench as Jose Mourinho is mindful of preserving Rashford ahead of Thursday’s Manchester derby with City. Over 279,000 of his owners handed the starlet the armband for Gameweek 34, including 20 of the top 100 FPL managers.

Wayne Rooney takes Rashford’s spot in the United starting line-up, leaving Fantasy managers looking to their defence for potential returns.

Eric Bailly was the top transfer target, finding his way into 102,000 new squads, while Antonio Valencia was snapped up by another 99,000+ FPL managers. However, the Ecuadorian is again omitted as Mourinho continues to spare the right-back from burn-out.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Utd got the money. It is also funny how when Martial and Rashford play up front they score. Maybe managers need to take their own advice and play players in their favoured position.

Bench w*nk*ry from those who captained Rashford knowing he hasn't a chance of playing with Martial flying!

Man Utd have scored their first PL goal of the season against Burnley, with what was their 43rd shot against the Clarets.

Just can't make up my mind on these last spots on my wildcard:

    xxx Pickford
    Alonso xxx xxx xxx Holgate

    I'm currently on Schmeichel/Monreal/Vert/Stephens

But this means no City/United defender....

      Cech or DDG?
      Vert isn't a must imo.

Yea indeed, well Cech is an option, but Monreal playing as a wingback seems nice 😀 Could go with Bailly instead of Vert maybe?

    DDG, Jaku
    Alonso, Davies, Fernandez, Evans, Holgate
    Sanchez, Alli, Coutinho, Siggy, Fletcher
    Kane, Lukaku, Negredo

    A) Siggy, Negredo > King, Benteke
    B) Siggy, Fletcher > King, Sane (3-5-2)

WC in GW36 and then will get Gabbi and/or Jesus as I think that getting them now is to early and risky.

    1. JÆKS ⭐
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 3 months ago

Why do you think Getting Gabbi is too risky? He played last game, will play this week so surely fit for the whole game against Hull!

      But I'd go B

so option C is possible too 🙂
        C) Siggy, Negredo > King, Gabbiadini

how about that? or B is better?

He wasn't playing so deep at Everton. They used to lump it up to him - he was an attacking CM.
