Gradually weaned off our double fixture helping and returned to normality, the ScoutCast team take time out to pick through the wreckage of Gameweek 34, before we set our sights firmly on what lies ahead.

Wildcards and Bench Boost chips lodged up their end of season sleeves, Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to embrace another round of community questions.

With the rebuilding programme imminent, we take a look at those shot-term punts who can do a job in Gameweek 35, before weighing up single fixture assets who can possibly hold their own amid the forthcoming circus of Gameweek 37.

And, of course, we carry out our weekly appraisal of Alexis Sanchez, as the Chilean hints at a return form just as an irresistable Eden Hazard closes in.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Monday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Rushed to bring in Hazard for a big hit only for him to not rise tonight. Now left here twiddling my thumbs for the next 24+ hours til the gw deadline

Who would you fancy to score the most FPL points next gameweek? Money and position don't matter as one of Siggy or Ibra will go and the other on the bench.

    A. Aguero (mid)
    B. Lukaku (CHE)
    C. Afobe (sun)
    D. Gibby (HUL)
    E. Costa (eve)
    F. Coutinho (wat)
    G. Arnie (WHU)
    H. Eriksen (ARS)
    I. Vardy (wba)

Cheers all. Thank you very much

Now I've WC'd, I have to make horrible bench decisions each week barring 37... So bench one:
    A) Gabbi (HULL)
    B) Jesus (mid)
    C) Sanchez (tot)
    D) King (sun)
    E) Alli (ARS)

    Got Kane(c) and Eriksen fwiw

      That's tricky.

I didn't see the game earlier. Did Jesus come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders? He's unlikely to start / get a full 90, so possibly him. However I'd probably bench Sanchez tbh. I think Spurs will show Arsenal up.

It is frustrating when ur casual team is in top 10k rank while your ML team is struggling in 80k rank (still leading by 10 pts).

Anyway, please comment my WC team.

    Cech, Pickford
    Alonso, Robertson, Stephens, Yoshida, Holgate
    Sanchez, Hazard, Eriksen, King, JWP
    Kane, Costa, Anichebe
    ITB 0.3

Is the def too light? who should i sell to upgrade def?
    Thanks

Costa is where the cash is lying there, if you having him and Kane plus Sanch, Haz and Erik dificult to free up.

Cech to Cabellero (think Bravo out?) frees some cash

how bad is bravo injury. i thought that too (city GK) so i can fit in gabriel for one of Soton def but i dont think they are nailed.

costa to gabbiadini and upgrade anichebe to who?

People having multiple teams is a bit of a faux pas on here, a big deal was made out of it when a regular poster admitted to having a second team in a FFS mini-league. That said, I don't care.

Struggling a little to see where all your money has gone. Having a light defence, JWP, King and Anichebe should surely leave you some more change?

I guess if Jesus gets 60+ mins this week, you can always bring him in for Costa and then upgrade Robertson to a City defender, or JWP to Sane. Not having any city in there would worry me.

Everyone taking one week punts before WC36.

Consider this. If you WC'd now, you can save a free next week, then have 2 ft's into 35. Isn't this a safe way to ensure you don't need to take a hit to possible rebalance anything.

was v close to doing it but the 'rubbish' players i want rid of in WC have ok fixtures and playing it safe with one more set of fixtures done and any injurys seen.

If injuries to Ibra, Mané, Gabbiadini, Jesus, Coleman etc etc have taught us anything, it's to have patience. Hope it works out for the GW35 WCers, but will be gutting if 2 or 3 of the template picks injure themselves over the weekend.

Can I have some advice on my WC team please 🙂 ?

    Cech, Caballero
    Yoshida, Stephens, Kelly, Monreal, Huth
    Coutinho, Hazard, Sanchez, Eriksen, Albrighton
    Kane, Gabbiadini, Benteke

    1,5 million in the bank.

Plan to (C) Benteke this week, then (TC) Sanchez for Arsenal and Southampton DGW (which will also have Cech, Monreal, Yoshida, Stephens and Gabbiadini)

Then bench boost GW37 and hopefully have whole team playing DGW, transfer Benteke to Jesus if he starts firing.

agree, but trying to keep GW36/37 in mind.

        Would you rather Alli/Eriksen?

Eriksen the one at the moment, Alli seems to be dropping away, have to look at his stats. Considering going without Spurs mid after WHU, they have an unfriendly run in, MUN lei hul (Hull excellent at home). City and Chelsea fixtures too damn good.

fair point. Eriksen has had jammy assists and goals all season.

point taken though. if Willian were regular he would tempt me.

hardly confident, but he did play today, and i'm hoping hes good to go for the DGW. With City still fighting hard for 4th place, and just that....i can see Pep throwing no caution to the wind.

        Thanks for your help 🙂

The one doubt in my mind at the moment is Jesus. Just dont have a clue on whether he will be nailed as starter alongside Aguero or if Pep will rotate the two of them.

I reckon, even if he does rotate, with Citys fixtures, Jesus will do well... cant imagine Pep not going all out, and with Kun not breaking United down today... who knows?

not definitely. but i think he's has the knack of being in the right time right place. etc.

4 games in 2 weeks is tempting. could easily go Rashford, or downgrade Eriksen and go Costa 🙂

not Rashford, but I do like the Eriksen/Costa idea.

Struggling with my WC this week. Still have BB:

    DDG, Pickford
    Azpilicueta, Holgate, Stephens, Gabriel, Yoshida
    Alli, Sanchez, Hazard, Carroll, Sane
    Kane, Gabbiadini, Anichebe

TV is dreadful (0.0 ITB)....Thanks for the help!

With low TV thats look of. DDG to Cabellero cold happen if Bravo out for the season?

Could make Carroll into Ward Prouse (ok cash wise?) Unsure on that move as I type it

This, and Alli->Eriksen if it means you can get Alonso over Azp

Pick 1 to bench please, this is a tough one :

    A. Alli
    B. Zaha
    C. Sanchez

    Rest of team is :

    Pickford
    Bailly Blind Yoshida
    Hazard King ____ ____
    Kane Lukaku Benteke

    0itb, no AoA

I wouldn't be able to bench either Sanchez or Alli so I'd do Zaha

Zaha in my opinion. Burnley are awfully close to the relegation zone, although they shouldve been well clear...
they'll be up for this one.

      Should be zaha shouldn't it?
Given that the north London derby usually has plenty of goals.
Ps. I hate having a decent mid priced guy on the bench.
They usually sting me with bench points

Haha I agree, it's annoying to bench mid price hauls, but you're right, it's gotta be Zaha on the bench..

Hello lads and ladies. Which one would you bench from these?

    A) Alonso
    B) Daniels
    C) Yoshiada

      Dunno perhaps yoshida.
Hull have been scoring goals even when they loose.
Daniels and Alonso have a more attacking threat
