Our usual post-Gameweek members’ article is up next as we check in on some of the standout performers across the previous weekend’s ten matches.

There’s cause for optimism in north London after Spurs and Arsenal hit a combined nine goals, while our new expected goals data offers plenty to ponder at Manchester City.

Elsewhere, Man United and Chelsea’s Belgian big-hitters have struggled to convince as Watford’s Samba star continues to catch the eye.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I will piss myself if Sterling starts at the weekend with so many appearing to sell.

Bernardo Silva also starts today. I would say it's unlikely that Bernardo starts 3 games in a row and Sterling 1 in 3.

That's probably right. The problem is with Napoli and Arsenal in the next week it's becoming a huge minefield.

    Any thoughts? On a WC...

    Pope Elliot
    Azpi Otamendi Moreno Ward Mariappa
    Silva Saleh Gross Richarlison Zaha
    Kane Aguero Abraham

Thinking to keep balance and have a playing bench so I can rotate and not worry so much about rotation.
Or is it better to go for another big hitter?

    wba a massive worry now

napoli away and arsenal to come followed by internationals with aguero/jesus travelling far and away. Then comes the crazy winter period where games come as thick and fast

I am seriously now considering going without kun/jesus

"I am sure" that Pep will start Kun and Jesus for Arsenal.I am not sure but i guess for the games against Wba and Napoli both Jesus and Kun will get the same minutes.Something like 60 and 30 for each one of them.

Just wanting to gauge the opinion of people here, what’s your argument for having a 3rd striker that’s £5.5m or above? Base £5.5m defenders look to be offering better value (Otamendi, Monreal for example). Base £8.5 strikers are way behind some base £8.5 and even £8.0 midfielders in terms of value, and the premium strikers have mostly poor value for money too. Even if their value isn’t too bad (Aguero), it limits team building elsewhere. What’s your take on it?

I feel like the death of Davies as a viable option will lead me to a 3-5-2. I currently justify having 2 big hitters upfront by saying I’ll in theory have at least 1 good captain choice each week, although I’ve got it wrong most weeks aha

      2. Pierce34
        • 10 Years

I inadvertently went 3-5-2 when Aguero injured his ribs and I've stuck with it for now. Probably more balance when mids are firing.

I went 4-4-2 when I realised after the initial Firmino hype, that he wasn’t actually that great an option. Who are your strikers?

Do we need to factor him in to merry go round now as well?

He's a problem on top of a problem for City picks IMO...

This. If he stays fit he will be starting before long. The fact Pep has managed to convert two attacking wingers/inside forwards into the deep playmakers vital to his system is a testament to his managerial skills. However Gundogan is proper conductor and if he can stay fit he will be a big part of the side.
