This is a player who failed three separate drug tests (one for cocaine and two for performance enhancing cocktails) in his career and openly admits to taking Pep up substances as far back as his Barcelona days.
What next ?....Lance Armstrong presenting winners medals at the Tour de France...Ben Johnson giving out life time achievement awards for athletics ?.

That is a false analogy, cycling is purely a physical sport where the use of drugs makes much more difference than in football. You can't drug enhance talent.

For longer yes. Faster an impossibility.
speed is relative. drugs can make you sustain a certain speed for longer periods. therefore it can make you faster. whether it's 100m a la ben Johnson or the marathon. if you cross that line in a faster time than you could without the drugs then it's made you faster.
That is what I said. No drug(that I know of) taken directly before a football match can increase your mph, some can increase oxygen levels in the blood, and help you maintain your top mph for longer.

Cocaine isn't really performance enhancing . Infact it's more chance of giving him an heart attack whilst exercising. Maybe it was effergin . That would have a lot more benefit

Not necessarily for attacking, but he's better on bonus, and I think he's slightly more nailed after the last match. Gomez could retain the RB spot or move to CB over Lovren. Moreno looks nailed-ish, but I could see a shakeup there (Robertson, or even back to Milner for a few matches) if he keeps making mistakes.
