Staggering....and my final post on the subject.
After my Sunday comment about how forgiving football is of the drug cheat Maradona after he was spotted at the Spurs match I was amazed to see him giving out gongs at the FIFA awards. WTF !!
This is a player who failed three separate drug tests (one for cocaine and two for performance enhancing cocktails) in his career and openly admits to taking Pep up substances as far back as his Barcelona days.
What next ?....Lance Armstrong presenting winners medals at the Tour de France...Ben Johnson giving out life time achievement awards for athletics ?.
