Saturday’s events draw to a close at the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal host Manchester United.

Once a fixture of huge significance for Fantasy managers, it’s fair to say that both teams have declined as a source of talent this season.

Romelu Lukaku heads into today’s match having suffered significant ownership losses over the previous two Gameweeks. He was sold by 234,000 ahead of today’s deadline, while some 356,000 moved him out in the previous Gameweek. The Belgian has just a single goal in his last seven Gameweek starts, recording three assists over that spell.

Interest in Paul Pogba has also slowed. He exploded with 12-points on his return to the starting line-up in Gameweek 12 but has since returned just an assist and saw his ownership dip by 6600 ahead of this match.

Meanwhile, Man Utd’s defence has produced just one clean sheet in the last four Gameweeks, with Phil Jones’ absence perhaps a key factor.

Arsenal have just started to hint that they could provide us with assets to consider.

Alexis Sanchez – last season’s top scoring player – remains on the periphery as part of just 2.7% of squads but Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are showing form that could yet tempt investment.

Ramsey has produced attacking returns in five of his last six Gameweeks, supplying four assists and two goals. Meanwhile, Ozil is fresh from a 17-point return in Gameweek 14.

Elsewhere, Alexandre Lacazette is, rather surprisingly involved in the tea-time kick-off. Arsene Wenger had stated that the Frenchman would miss out against Untied, but he starts and leads the Gunners attack.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Utd are no way near City but that argument is crap. Could easily say Utd thrashed Everton where city dropped points at home (albeit through a dodgy red)

United looking increasingly good under Mourinho as the season progresses... City will have to dig deep to get a result the way they're scraping games these days

Looks to be the end of Tottenham's golden era, and what an era it was!

    PL x 0

        How is that? 😀

Going into the gw with Elliot and Speroni, knowing you will only be able to play 10. To see Hennessy start and get injured in the warm up, followed by an 11 pointer from Speroni, probably the most lucky thing that has happend this season

Depends if people have other things to fix in their team. I owned Elliot and I was considering saving my FT and I was pretty okay with having just 10 players until the last minute - eventually bought Pope which didn't pay off either.

I see your point, but giving credit but would thinking that Leicester will score against Burnley, getting so many points is just pure luck, deserves no credit at all

That's FPL for us, and pretty much sums up our season too.

I've got such people in my ML who have owned the Kante's and Fernandinho's during their little patch (don't know how) and have got away with it which is simply frustrating.

Don't stress about it owned by about 4.5%, so less than that started him.

Literally so annoyed about this as I got Hennessey in.

Opting to play without a goalkeeper is just being terrible at fpl in my opinion. When casuals get lucky it doesn't bother me. But people on here getting that lucky, and being rewarded for bad play is very annoying...

I had Elliot and Hart GW 13
Sold Hart (angrily) for Speroni to free up funds

Both Elliot and Speroni benched for GW14

GW15 I did Elliot to Hennessey and started Speroni hoping for an auto sub. Voila! Hennessey got injured during warm-up and Speroni made 7 saves to keep it 0-0.

Luck is needed in this game.

I has s dilemma before this round. I could either get a playing keeper (Speroni/Elliot) og transfer in Hazard. I transfered in Hazard and capped him.

BOOM! Speroni replaces Hennessy due to a injury and gives me 11p! Never been that lucky in FPL before!

Spending all my valuable transfers replacing my injured premium defender spot over the past few weeks has not been fun:

Jones (inj). Stones (inj). Mustafi (inj).

Guess Christensen is up next... owners beware!

I am not sure. I had since GW1 at 5m and sold at 5.4m, for an effective 5.2m. I will buy him back once I see he has started a game and come through it - probably around 5.3m or 5.4m - but couldn't keep him for these 3-5+ gameweeks just sitting there.
