After Eden Hazard failed to deliver in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Huddersfield, eight of the top ten captains in Fantasy Premier League are set to feature over this evening’s seven matches.

All eyes are on Harry Kane as Spurs welcome Brighton to Wembley Stadium – after a weekend home brace against Stoke, he’s the top armband pick for Gameweek 17, with 25.2% of managers handing him the captaincy – his biggest majority of the season so far.

Mohamed Salah is second only to Kane, with 17.8% backing after serving up seven sets of double-digits. Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are also back on the Liverpool team-sheet, though, after featuring as subs against Everton.

The latter was second only to Kane for transfers in ahead of Tuesday’s deadline – over 197,000 acquired Firmino in the rush to replaced the stricken Alvaro Morata.

Romelu Lukaku, Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez will be hoping that history repeats itself this evening.

Lukaku is toiling for form right now, with a single goal in nine Gameweeks, but scored four at home to tonight’s visitors Bournemouth while at Everton last season.

Aguero, meanwhile, netted twice in Man City’s win at Swansea in 2016/17 – he returns to Pep Guardiola’s XI as Gabriel Jesus takes up bench-warming duties.

Sanchez heads to West Ham, where he ran riot on his way to three goals and an assist in the previous campaign.

Elsewhere, Charlie Austin and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were both subject to significant transfers in ahead of Gameweek 17, with 156,00+ and 172,000+ new owners respectively.

Both have the fixtures to strengthen their claims as budget third strikers.

Austin – with four goals in three starts – hosts a Leicester defence with one away shutout to their name.

Ranked top for points per million, Calvert-Lewin has a goal and three assists in the last four Gameweeks and visits a Newcastle defence that’s conceded an average of three goals per game over their previous five league fixtures.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Never listen to the pundits who picked Charlie Austen to fire in the goals.
    Should've picked Okazaki instead.
And Liverpool not scoring...... WTF.. no points for Salah... Liverpool, and Arsenal definitely on a bad game week.
Sometimes all these fixtures is just too much for these players.
When are the stupid FA gonna wake up and give the premier league a winter break. It's quality not quantity...

Did not see that Liverpool result coming.

Nervous about having triple attack for next gw now.

Any Liverpool fans watch the game and can comment about anyone who could be at risk of being dropped, or are the fab 3 relatively safe and just unlucky today?

I watched the MU vs. BOU game and BOU were very lucky not to concede a few more. MU were too tbh, lol.

32 pts. Not a single bonus point. Worst performance of the season. I am ranked 25k prior to this GW. Kolasinac & ward dont play 60 mins. so no CS despite their team getting CS. Courtois & Kabasele concede late goals. Absolutely nothing from kane, hazard or salah.
Sterling & otamendi my only 2 scoring players.

I’m so tempted to put Wilshire in, I watched the game & would say he was one of the best players on the pitch, barely lost the ball, had a few shots, some good passes - 5.4m, surely worth the 5th mid?

    Pope
Jones Alonso Duffy -- Gomez Kiko
Salah Richarlison Gross Fab -- RLC
    Kane Morata Firmino

A: Save FT (if richa is fit)
B: Richarlison (if inj) >> Silva
C: Kane + RLC >> DLC + Sanchez (-4)..or is haz more essential?

So, I didn't see any matches so could use some feedback.

    How was Kane today?
Did Cout look dangerous or too deep?
Silva a bit lucky or getting further forward and real competition to Sterling?
West Ham defence worth investing in?

I watched a lot of liverpool game.

Cout was deep but still looked relatively dangerous i.e. always getting the ball. Setup a chance for the Ox near the end with a long ball. Tried to get forward when he could as well, would've had a tap in if firmino squared it to him instead of shooting. Tough game though, very much a "Pulis" west brom tonight.
