The final round of festive fixtures comes to its conclusion at Wembley Stadium as Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham play the second match of their double Gameweek 22.

Much to our collective relief, Harry Kane returns to the hosts’ starting line-up after producing just a single point from his 22 minutes off the bench at Swansea on Tuesday night.

It’s fair to say that the Fantasy Premier League hopes of many managers rely on the Spurs striker this evening.

Not only is he the top captain pick for the Gameweek (24.2%), a hefty 121,000+ Triple Captain chips have been wielded on Kane in light of back-to-back hat-tricks in his previous two starts.

The allure of a double Gameweek has also boosted in interest in Spurs midfield trio Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli. All three join Kane on the teamsheet and are also among the top 13 armband picks for Gameweek 22.

The top transfer target for Gameweek 22, with 498,000+ new owners, Son has scored in five of Tottenham’s last six at Wembley, totalling 57 points over those matches.

Eriksen and Alli, meanwhile, bagged an assist and goal respectively in Tuesday’s win at Swansea to continue their improved form.

The Dane has supplied points in six of his last seven outings, while Alli has two goals and four assists in his previous three.

At the back, Ben Davies earns successive starts for the first time since Gameweek 16 as Danny Rose misses out with a knee complaint again.

The big news for the Hammers is that Marko Arnautovic is sidelined with a minor hamstring problem.

Drafted in by over 368,000 for his pair of fixtures, he ends double Gameweek 22 on five points, having earned the assist for Andy Carroll’s late winner against West Brom.

Carroll’s two goals in the Baggies’ clash isn’t enough to keep his role in the XI, though – he drops to the bench as Chicharito leads the line instead.

The Mexican and Manuel Lanzini – who has supplied four assists in his previous five – carry the main threat to a defence that’s looking for their tenth clean sheet of the season.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    seriously considering doiing these transfers.....
Rangel and Kane out......Alonso and Morata in
i know morata is missing chances constantly but he is still getting into good positions and its a matter of time i think till he starts too score again, where Kane has some pritty difficult fixtures on the horizon, apart from saints away. and if it means i can upgrade Rangel to Alonso is it not worth it?
    What do you think

    1. Magic Bean

Personally I think it's dangerous to go without Kane, especially when downgrading to a man off form. Give it a week or so

So conceding to the fact I'll be getting Salah back in for a hefty amount after selling for 9.6, I'll be downgrading Abraham (I know) to a 4.5ish to get a mil back into the bank.

Quaner looking the only option right now? Or do we think Ayew for 5.0 is the better option?

Ayew, for sure. He's looked lively.

    2. Both shite mate - Quaner has 0 goals in 14 PL appearances this season, is not nailed, and is POO. Ayew is slightly better but still dregs.

You say that, but Ayew has given me 2 goals and 2 assists in the 6 times he's had to come off the bench!

You've had 80% of his returns and he's a bench option, wow, incredible luck that. Tbf Quaner has 2 assists despite not being a regular starter. Caught just the one assist off my bench from him

            • 10 Years
            8 years, 1 month ago

Yep, Ayew off the bench has been among the luckiest parts of my season. I got him in GW 8 when I switched to 3-5-2.

First two weeks I had him he came off the bench for Ramsey and Sterling respectively with an assist each time. Then more recently I got his goals when he came in for Jesus and Hazard.

Never seen him play and have no idea how effective he could reasonably be expected to be in the PL. Would be wonderful to get him on WC if he can hit the ground running

So I brought Kane in for the DGW after 12 blissful weeks of not owning him and as always he screwed me, I had to sacrifice Hazard and KDB to get him in. Was planning on keeping him for a while but biven Jesus injury I want to triple back up on City. My initial thought is to get Aguero in but I can also go back to KDB with 1 hit. Thoughts?

    Best Combo please everyone?

    A) KDB, Vardy and Tarkowski (-4)

    B) Aguero, Lingard and Jones

    C) Kane, Doucoure and Jones (Current)

    Rest of the Team

    Pope (Elliot)
JONES* - Alonso - Otamendi (Ogbonna - Mariappa)
    Salah - Coutinho - Son - Sterling - DOUCOURE*
    Firmino - KANE* (Depoitre)

I've had it since GW 19 and has been going ok. Aguero has hit the post a few times so it definitely could have been better. Now that Jesus is injured I think I'll stick with it for a while and likely until Jesus is back. Other striker is DCL. Midfielders are Salah Sterling Son Arnautovic RLC

Already gone there, best two strikers in the league in my opinion. Seems sensible considering there's lots of questions marks over other strikers at the moment. I've got a really cheap defense but my attack is currently looking like this:

      Salah, Son, Pogba, Alli, Lingard
      Kane, Aguero, DCL

Thinking of doing DCL to Ayew and then one of Son or Alli out for Sterling probably. Providing your team value isn't too bad you could go a cheap third striker and get a very strong midfield 5.

Wow, that merits an "of course" in your book?

Otamendi has scored 21 points in the three games - Liv (home) ManU (away) & Chelsea (away) only scoring 1 goal in the process and picking up 2 yellows to diminish that score.
          Still think it's a certainty?

and he may only score 1 point, who knows, it's the nature of the game but investment in the likes of Alonso & Otamendi means they play every week otherwise I wouldn't be spending that kind of dosh on a defender.

    Otamendi - Jones - Mee - Dunk - Kenny
    Hazard - Salah - Sterling - Son - Lingard
    Kane - DCL - Depoitre

    1.4 ITB; 0 FT

Anywhere worth a 4 point hit or leave it? I don't usually like taking hits (only -12 all season) but I'm slightly"meh" on my team ATM, especially attack but think I'd rather upgrade defenders than attackers atm.

from that half an hour in the reverse fixture Liverpool i would say they were extremely unlucky to not score and only a fifthy fifthy situation changed the whole game. With that City defense i would be very surprised if Liverpool won´t score, with or without Coutinho. But Ota is a threat on set pieces so he could score. I´m benching, but it´s my gut that says it.
