Paul
Our post-Gameweek members’ article brings a host of midfielders under analysis as we check out some of the standout statistics from the previous round of fixtures.
Chelsea and Man United’s wide men catch the eye, as does a Potters’ playmaker under new manager Paul Lambert, while we also assess some improved performances up front, with Arsenal’s summer signing now profiting from an upturn in pitch-time.
Rudiger seems pretty nailed these days. Fair assessment?
Yep
Nailed seems a bit of an overstatement. But "seems nailed" not too bad an assessment
His name is Bart.
Intriguing.
9.5-10.5?
Looks pricey. 9.0m would be good pricing imo
For 9M he goes straight in
So he scores more than Firmino? You don't even know if he's nailed to start.
I'll consider when the Aguero train runs out of steam.
DZEKOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo!
Amazing!
Morata back to his natural habitat on th bench.
Possible increased rotation for Alonso.
Anyone here playing Fantasy tennis?
Love-Forty
Year Old Women.
McEnroe ftw.
He is still too young to win but he has a bright future ahead of him 😛
He always struggled with that concept of maturity.
McEnroe vs tired legs?
I’m really good at fantasy pocket ping pong!
Alonso to Bellerin looks pretty good in a couple of weeks when Chelsea have signed Emerson from roma.. I think alonso could be a rotation risk then
Perhaps from 29, But not before
Emerson hasn't started a game all season being back up to Kolarov. Is he really going to oust Alonso?
He had been long term injured I thought?
He might play some PL matches on Champs League weeks for example.
Right you are: https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/roma-defender-emerson-suffers-anterior-cruciate-ligament-injury
Seems a weird buy then, maybe Alonso is under more threat than I want to realise 🙁
Kane + Arnie --> Firmino + Hazard ?
Nah
Assuming you have Kun?
Yes
Well and truly the year of the casual if Arsenal win tonight and there isn't a blank the weekend of the EFL Cup final!
Yeah come onnnnnn, Chelsea.
Although it won’t be a Big issue for most players even if they blank :/
Won't be a problem anyway now I don't think.
Up the Arse!
Bookies fav tonight.
Stop quoting my missus 😉
😯
Good cause I haven't planned for shit.
You would have done though
Possibly so. I normally plan more than I have this year though.
But the panic would have been enjoyable.
The planning was only due to start after tonight anyway 😉
Seems the 28 blank could well be a non starter.
Pope
Alonso • Ota • Jones • Christensen
Salah • Son • Sterling • Lingard • Arnie!
Kane
(Elliot / Niasse / DCL / Wimmer)
1 ft & 2.2 itb
Arnie ➡️ Mahrez for free no brainer?
Will have exact money for DCL to Wilson next gw if I make the move before any price changes.
Although it doesn’t look like Arnie or Mahrez will fall/rise before the weekend.
DCL to Wilson next week is a great idea. Can't fault the pick of Mahrez, but wait as long as you can this week before doing it to get as much info as possible. Shaq the other mid option I like.
Seriously considering Kane > Aguero this week now and getting Kane back in GW28.
Quite a few are planning that.
If I did that, I know 100% Kane would brace v Utd & Kun off injured in first 10 mins v West Brom. No way in hell am I doing it!
Would it be insensitive of me if I suggested that there is quite weak correlation between your transfers and future FPL Points.
What you might be seeing is flawed transfer decisions where you buy players who are currently scoring and selling those not living up to expectations. At which point, it turns out you were right in the first place though no-one seems to take any comfort in this.
lingard and son > willian and mkhi for free?
Potentially, but it has it's risks.
Don't like that. Willian and Mkhi not at all nailed.
thanks guys, i guess it answered itself 30 mins into the game
Sky sports had a shocker here...
https://twitter.com/FootyMemes/status/956242025904472064
What was the context?
I bet the media wish that twitter account was true.
Apparently he did tweet it back in 2011. Fake account just re-tweeted it and Sky sports picked it up, Jokers
Chelsea agree Dzeko fee... is he an option, or does he kill him + Morata as FPL picks
rotation wont be there for long as they'll be out the CL soon. Then we'll see whos no. 1 pick
Morata was already dead!
Dzeko can't play in the CL so would expect him to play in the games around that. Considering Morata's recent form though he might be first choice from the off.
True
Would kill off Willian most likely, before he even became an option.
What is the length of Arnie injury?
His hamstring prob about 35 centimetres
35 points
Is the game on the tv in the UK?
Sky Sports Football channel
Sky
Thanks guys
Kane & Arnie > Aguero & Mahrez -4
A) Good transferrs
B) Log off
Son, Arnie -> Mahrez, Shaqiri (-4)?
I'm looking at that - but for free
Kane + Arnie > Sanchez + Vardy
Crazy or worth a punt?
Don't do it
Can review Kane after the next 3, have Kun also do not to far a jump back
Nice
It will be painful to watch Christensen on bench against BOU.
Christensen ---> VVD?
He'll probably on the bench vs Newcastle and start vs Bournemouth. How many minutes he'll play is a whole other matter...
Think he’ll be rested for FA Cup and start PL.
Courtois / Elliot
Kenny / Duffy / Daniels / Zanka / Masaaki
Salah / Sterling / Mahrez / Arnie / Lingard
Kane / Kun / Ladapo
1FT, 0ITB
WC Time?
No, why?
Courtois, Kenny, the defence, Arnie, Lingard, Ladapo, took hits two weeks in a row i don't like hits and wanna improve my form
Hope Conte sticks to this 3-4-3. They speed they move the ball around at is incredible, so much pace and fluidity
Azpi screamer, Pedro deflection, offside.
Pedro offside
Pedro G, Azpi A disallowed
Christensen starts so likely benched at the weekend and plays in the PL next mid week? Or is that logic wrong?... he’ll probably only play 58mins anyways though! 😆
Expect him to start PL but minutes are anyone's guess 🙂
🙂
Any stream link for the match?
not allowed link streams
Hazard stunning goal. Essential.
Haz G, Pedro A
Hazard goal
Hazaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Pedro assist
Hazard goal. Arsenal still in the tunnel
I sense a thumping incoming...
