The curtailed Gameweek 35 concludes at Goodison Park tonight as Everton host Newcastle United in a fixture that has all the makings of a dead rubber.

The two teams are now surely safe from the threat of relegation and appear to be playing for Premier League prize money only over the remaining matches.

But from a Fantasy perspective, there is still interest in the Merseyside clash, with Free Hit managers investing in the likes of Jordan Pickford, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman in their one-week refresh.

All start for the home side tonight.

Meanwhile, those without the chip at their disposal, likely take Magpies assets into this match, with Ayoze Perez, Kenedy and budget defender Paul Dummett among the most likely to feature in squads.

Indeed, Perez is the most signed player on show tonight, having commanded over 133,000+ transfers in ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

That follows a rich vein of form from the Spaniard which has produced three goals and three two assists from his last three Gameweek starts.

Perez sits behind Islam Slimani in the attack tonight, with the Algerian starting a Premier League match for Newcastle for the first time since his loan move from Leicester City.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Why is a player that failed to score a PK getting punished with pts reduction while a player that failed to score on a clear chance (i.e 1-on-1 with the keeper) not? Just asking for opinion.

The bonus points system has showed lots of flaws this weekend. How on earth can a keeper who concedes 5 get rewarded? It's all ludicrous.

This is what i was wondering too about yesterday game, a GK that got scored 5 times get away with 2 bonus pts. Penalty is tricky for both sides.

This is the most ludicrous of all. 0% credible. The rest I can live with just - assists that aren't and vice versa. 5 pick ups out of the net and the GK has had a better game than the other team incuding the guys that scored them? Scandalous. #2 is the price protection of top players...

PKs are converted a very large % of the time, and when one is missed or saved its a black & white situtation of the player not scoring. 1v1s are converted a much lower % of the time, and how 'easy' one is becomes a much more subjective situation.

      What to do with Sané?

      A) Sané -> Eriksen
      B) Keep and do Salah -> Eriksen instead of he's not starting
      C) Keep this week and switch to D.Silva next week

      DDG
Lowton - Tarkow - Long (Simpson, Mariappa)
Salah - Sterling - Son - Sané (King)
      Kane - Jesus - Vardy

1 FT and 1.0 ITB now

I would wait until Friday night before doing any transfer.

Sané might have a chance to start this week, but probably get rotated again on DGW37. So, I think Eriksen (WAT) might be better for both this GW and next on DGW37.

      A) smalling (double up with DDG) or Vertonghen

My dilemma as only have 0.1m in bank and Mahrez (8.8) to Sterling (8.9) can be done for free is do I wait to see if I can do Salah->Sterling later this week if Salah is out this weekend or pull the trigger now on Mahrez-Sterling but risk a Salah rest and thus Dunk off the bench. I think I will wait as West Ham played City well last time (2-1 loss) + really want to sell Salah if he is confirmed out.

It’s all about balancing the hits and upside. That’s the key right now.

Spurs and city are so tempting. But how tempting?

It wasn’t so long ago everyone’s going for 2/3 che and lei with their double double and now prepared to chuck away 4 points to get rid of each.

It seems like it could be a trap, and seems like points chasing, yet.. still remains tempting.

Timely post. It's very tempting but I only have 35 point ML so should minimize hits but I was just now seriously considering this for -12 pre 37.
        Yes or no?

        Sanchez Mahrez Vardy Murray
        To

35 is a huge lead and you’re offloading four players who already have a double.

Personally I’d do a move, maybe consider two but that’s the most.

Would give 3 Spurs and 3 City attack for 37 + J. Ayew up front that is tempting.

            • 13 Years

Who does your rival have? If he has Vardy and Mahrez and they do finally do something that -12 can be very costly as your leads then only 23. That’s potentially just a TC

I think my team looks better on paper rival does not have Mahrez or Vardy but has Sterling
So just Mahrez and Murray to Sterling and Ayew seems sensible. Rival also has TC I have no chips left. If I were him I would TC Sterling from his current squad

He was unlucky last week, could have easily scored two and had a couple of assists if vardy had his shooting boots on. Im keeping him for this week against palace (due to not wanting to take a 4 point hit) then he could be the one to go so i can make space for Sterling if he looks like he's going to play every game.

              Robertson - Smalling - Tark - Chilwell - Naughton
              Salah-Son-Sterling-Willian-McArthur
              Kane - Jesus - Barnes.

              GW36:

              DDG
              Smalling - Robertson - Tark
              Salah - Son - Sterling - Willian
              Kanes - Jesus - Barnes

bench: Fabianski - chilwell - naughton - McArthur

No Trasfer needs (maybe), but my doubts:

              Capitan --> Salah - Sterling - Kane?
              DDG or Fabianski?

GW37: i can 3 FT with -4 to replace barnes with lukaku, cut willian son or willian salah? for who?

Getting normal team back after FH is a let down. Would not mind keeping that FH team.

Haha yeah, I bet many feel that way. I'm happy looking at triple City attackers in my team for the run-in!

How many people are doing Lukaku to Kane this week? Lukaku could bag a brace v Arsenal (haven’t got an away point in 2018).

If arsene’s talking about giving his players a break then absolutely their defence is awful and their back up defence is shockingly awful

And Kane could bag a hattrick v WAT

not doing it this week. However, that could be a bad decision.

May also go Kaneless for the DGW too. A lot on here and pundits saying Kane looks off the pace.

          Keep Mahrez or Willian?
ML rival has both and he maybe transfer Mahrez -> Sterling this week.

Even with the double I have Vardy but want more City mids for those double fixtures.
