With Stoke City tumbling out of the Premier League with their defeat to Crystal Palace, events now turn to four afternoon kick-offs.

Fantasy managers will be fixated on the encounter at The Hawthorns which now has even greater significance following the result at the bet365 Stadium.

Harry Kane goes into this match as the most popular captain pick with the backing of over a million Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers.

More importantly, some 49.3% of the 385,000+ Triple Captain chips in play are trusted on the Spurs striker. His output in this match, and on Wednesday at home to Newcastle, will be crucial to the outcome of mini-leagues and in deciding the FPL crown.

Kane continues to give chase to Mohamed Salah in the race for the Golden Boot, but will do so in a Spurs line-up without Ben Davies and Son Heung-min who both drop to the bench.

Elsewhere today, Jordan Ayew takes over 143,000 new owners into Swansea City’s trip to Bournemouth as they go in search of the three points that will go a long way to earning them safety.

Meanwhile, at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City will host West Ham with the Hammers also looking to confirm their top flight status by earning a point.

Fantasy managers will hope that Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez will repay their recent Wildcard investment, with the latter heading into this game on the back of a disappointing run of five successive blanks.

For West Ham, Arnautovic has the backing of 58,000+ new owners as he bids to add to his tally of ten goals and five assists from his previous 16 starts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

By my calculations no. But Southampton and Swans have to win both and Huddersfield need to win one. As good as safe.

Not if you have bench cover, which most should given the DGW. Why bother with transferring him out when there's no GW 39 😀

At this point Haz, not sure if it is jammy or skill. I think lots here have been emotionally and statically skewed on their decisions judging from previous seasons data and performance. Myself included. The ones whom have been performing well are the ones whom don't have any attachment.

      1. IAWC ( It's a Wonderfu…

Many top FPL mangers over season 's past have also have some damn good luck but most of their decisions look good on paper. Perhaps Kane has been the biggest troll for many mangers on here i guess but I am telling about my rival who didn't own Kane throughout the season(NOT even in gw22) and didn't have any man city attackers in gw35 too. Thats y i say unreal jam

Lots of Vert owners me included. It's a bit of luck yes but I don't know how many pts I lost out on all the times Christensen went off early and got randomly benched when Chelsea kept clean sheets

Exactly balance restored. Maybe he get all the luck in one season and none in the next. Or maybe they get all the luck for part or the season and none for the rest.

Ur point was luck within one season. What I mentioned was that some mangers are jammy throughout one season and the balance within one season cant be restored at those instances that is y they some times struggle to get even into top 100k next season

The second paragraph was a conclusion to my point, I was referring to all instances of luck evening itself out, not just over a season.

Vert owners got lucky this time, I've sure you've gotten lucky with players in the past too, do you come on here saying your a jammy manager. And you have no idea what the result would have been had he stayed on the field so why not just accept it and stop moaning

You're so right. This is a human failing. People choose not to remember when they got jammy in everything but remember the bad luck they've had or the good luck of rivals. Not just FPL, everything.

Got it. I misunderstood. Thought you were referring to Vert himself. On rereading I see what you meant.

Given Vert might not play the next game it doesn't seem so jammy.

And if your rival is anything like me, he brought him in because Spurs had two games that on paper looked like certain clean sheets so it made sense to get a defender. Bavies the best option if playing but everybody knew Rose might play so Vert the next best since nailed. I don't consider myself lucky for making a rational choice. Sure he got a CS but might not play the next game and I have Gross, Duffy and Ryan on the bench.

How serious did Vertonghen's injury look? Happy for the banked CS points, he's managed to pull off the Guy Demel special

Pochettino says Spurs must be more aggressive, especially with the ball, and that they maybe felt because they were dominating that the goal would just arrive. Didn't force the issue enough. He changed the system as a response to previous performances. Vertonghen has twisted his ankle.

Napoli and Carlo Ancelotti have found an agreement on the terms of a two-year contract, opening the door for Maurizio Sarri to take over at Chelsea at the end of the season. (Oracolorn.it) #CFC
