A brief rundown on Wolves for people that havnt seen much of them by someone who has seen a lot of them.

Nuno went 3 center backs, 2 wing backs, 2 deeper center mids, 2 wider forwards and a lone central striker. When defending this can drop into a flat 5-4-1 and when attacking will look more like a 3-4-3.

Keepers
Ruddy was first choice and Norris 2nd but I expect both to be bumped down the pecking order for Patricio. Ruddy won Championship keeper of the season but in my opinion it was the defence infront of him rather than his performances that won that award.

Defenders
For the most part the 3 center backs were Bennett right side, Coady middle and Boly on the left. Boly is the big danger from set pieces, he's big, good in the air and comfy on the ball. Coady is a midfielder converted to a center back. Bennett could be shipped out and Saiss moved into defence from his central midfield position where he plays for Morocco.

Doherty is the right wing back and was unchallenged for the position last season although Phil Ofosu-Ayeh was bought as competition but was injured until the last few weeks of the season.
Douglas is the left wing back and with Neves a primary set piece taker. His delivery was fantastic last season and he racked up around 14 assists and 5 goals. His competition is Vinagre but he rarely played, rumours of Zinchenko could hurt his minutes but before this id have expected his place fairly safe.

Cant see many minutes for Batth or Miranda

Midfield
Neves is the deeper lying playmaker and Saiss is the more the enforcer, expect both to sit deep and pick up a lot of yellow cards. Neves is a fantastic player and people will be tempted by the 5.0 price tag but he rarely gets into the box and is unlikely to pick up many assists. His points are likely to come from wonder strikers outside the box but will he get as many opportunities in the prem?

Jota, Costa and Cavaleiro are all pretty similar wide players that can cut in pick up assist and are expected to score goals. Jota and Cav were usually first choice but Costa is not to be underestimated, he came into last season off the back of an injured at the end of 16/17 but in that season he was the standout performer whilst Cav struggled to get going. Its difficult to say who will start from the 3 id expect Jota to start but Costa could be great value with a full preseason if he can nail a place down. Jota was top scorer with 17 and Cav scored 9 in the league. Nuno has been known to play all 3 with Cav as the more central striker but i wouldnt expect it with better options upfront this season.

Strikers
Leo Bonatini, when this guy was signed and we didnt really have clue who he was but he hit the ground running. Nuno expects his striker to work hard for the team scoring goals for himself and creating chances for the wider men. Bonatinis goals dried up after xmas, he looked tired and his confidence at this point was low. We were expecting the club not to bother making his loan permanent but they did, maybe a rest and a good preseason will rejuvenate him. Jiminez I expect to be first choice as it currently stands, he's signed on loan from Benfica with an option to buy of around 30 million, hes struggled to nail down a first team place but looks a similar type of hard working all round striker like Bonatini.

Expect most of the goals to be created from wider positions, the team are well organised and know their rolls well. Nuno used very few players throughout the season as you can see by only have 2 strikers and 5 midfielders to choose from in FPL.

Value from an fpl point
Douglas if he's first choice, Boly at 4.5 looks decent or bennett if we dont make anymore signings should keep his place. Going forward its difficult to pick a stand out Jota is probably more nailed on hence his higher price tag.

Possible signings to come. I expect a central midfielder which could lead to Saiss dropping into defence, possibly another wing back and maybe a striker.
