I think Naby Keita is an interesting pick. I can see him doing a lot of box to box work for Liverpool like he did at Leipzig. Big question is will it translate into FF points.

I don't see the point of having Son in your team just for one week. You're forcing yourself into a transfer in week 2 without knowing what other issues you'll need to also address.

Salah is causing you to have play rubbish like Hughes. Why not downgrade Hughes and upgrade a defender to play 442

If you're playing 352 you can afford to change one of your 4.5 defenders to a 4.0. That gives you some funds in reserve if you need to make a change after week 1 (to upgrade Martial or to go Mahrez to Sane etc.).

I think you can squeeze a better 3rd def in there Flynny than have that rotation headache every week.

You’re immediately in trouble if Heaton starts, though.

I love me some Burnley goalkeepers, but until we know who’s going to start the season in goal for them you run a big risk of backing the wrong one and having to change it.

Auba may end up a better pick but at this moment in time we know what we’re getting with City and Pep. None of us knows what we’re getting with Unai Emery and Arsenal yet.

It's a big temptation to start with Aguero, especially when looking at City's GW2 fixture, however I can't help feeling that Auba is in tremendous form and will rip it up all season, no matter the opposition. I can easily see him getting the golden boot this year, so I'm tempted to start with him despite the early fixtures. Also, I know a lot of people are saying we can easily swap one out for the other, but if Auba hits the ground running his price will have gone up by GW3.

Does this kind of strategy usually work?

I looked at combos with Wolves but most of them involve the disastrous Bournemouth or teams with really bad opening fixtures - Newcastle, Hammers, Huddersfield. So basically I went off the notion!

I'd be worried about TAA and Aguero rotation risks.
Also, Neves doesn't seem like a fantasy player. He plays too deep.
The rest is really similar to mine.

Elyounoussi could be a great shout. Jota and Cairney should be full of confidence after good Champo seasons if nothing else.

Yeh, I'm not seeing that many PVAs - more cheaper Tomkins, allowing Firmino to the more popular Aguero, with DDG downgraded to Fabianski. Neves is the autopick/casual choice but not so much here where Cairney is more popular.

I'm planning to do the exact same thing. Only thing that's worrying me is KDB not being back for the Huddersfield game. Having no City attack in that game would be pukey.
