    Targeted forwards in first two picks, then Eriksen then went after defence. Worked well.

      If he's rotated before I've sold him, I'll likely hold for at least another game. You'd think he's get more than 1514 mins and 112 pts this season, so it's not worth shipping him unless there's an obvious alternative at the time, and you have at least on FT to spare.

        This too. If he only gets 2000 mins, that would make approx. 148 points for the season based on last year's return. If he a higher proportion of those mins during the tastiest games, then were' approaching and perhaps exceeding value for money.

          Not really. Ederson didn't start CS and I'm pretty sure a a good 4.5 should score at least 80-90% of the points he scores so there's that.

      Not close at all, because Cedric hasn't played a single pre-season minute, and Southampton are outright refusing to sell Matt Targett who has started as RWB and had two assists on his weaker side in pre-season.

    (Ryan-Button seem safe but pretty uninspiring, definitely not set on them yet...)

    I really like the 'premium' defenders, those four seem like decent value considering attacking threat (easy downgrades to PVA, Coleman, Bellerin, Luiz, Emerson etc. plenty of decent options). You'd be lucky to pick the right 7.5ish midfielder to beat the Spurs pair over say 4-12 weeks imo.

    Salah & Mane look like standouts, City midfield is a rotation minefield (I do really want Mahrez though...and KDB...and Sterling) - not convinced by Pedro/Moura/Jota/Richarlison etc. Ramsey is probably the one to come in for Bilva.

    I can't seem to get away from the cheap strikers though, and I kinda want to start with 3 of them (I also like Austin & Wood, also Zaha, Tosun and King could be decent)

          For GW1 I try to ignore any long-term tactics and simply go for the team that I think will get the most points, WC always there if desperately needed early on. Up to you though

    Does anyone else truly believe they're set on their team and won't do any further tinkering before the deadline? Barring injuries / press conferences stating one of my players isn't likely to start, I'm fairly confident I'm done after 37 drafts (one photo on my phone for each draft :lol:)

          I've been lurking around Burnley forums and the people suggest the Hart signing means that Heaton's injury is worse than what the club is letting on (And what FPL is showing) and they definitely don't see Heaton starting GW1 so it's either Hart or Lindegaard to start the season.

        Same issue. Only changes I think I'll make are deciding between Begovic + Boruc or Patricio + Norris. Much of a muchness. Former has potential to better to start the season I feel, latter better over the course of the entire season.
